Poll: Would you rather live in Uganda (Africa) or N. Korea?

I'd probably live in Uganda, and join the military. That should protect me from being killed by the military or by any warlords (unless of course I get killed in action), plus I'm pretty sure their soldiers don't starve. North Korea's just not my cup of tea...

Yeah, the military over there has been accused of raping it's members. Its kinda common.

Raping its own members?! Wtf? I thought it was all about raping random civilians! And isn't Uganda one of those nations that heavily looks down on homosexuality (I'm a guy)?

In any culture that looks down on homosexual sex, it will happen. Which is why the catholic church had that massive scandal, or most armies that don't like gay people, have a long history of gay members.

They just hide it.

Still, it shouldn't happen significantly more than average. It's not like gay people flock to Uganda, so at best the Ugandan military should have an average amount of homosexual rape compared to similar nations.

Oh well, I get a gun and a uniform, plus my higher level of education might make it easier for me to become an officer. I assume officers are probably safer from rape...

Aye, you just have to hope they'll accept a white foreign guy to lead them.

Hey, at least in Uganda I won't be jailed for being an American spy...

North Korea on the off chance that I could use South Korea's wireless internet and rock them (or get rocked) in Starcraft 2.

In a country where many aren't given food to eat everyday, i doubt it would be easy to acquire a pc and starcraft 2, let alone internet. One can dream though, goddammit!!
