There is undoubtedly no such thing as heaven or hell, however, working 12 hours a day here on Earth would probably be very similar to hell.
Eh, I'd have to go with serving in heaven, if the heaven and hell are the same as those described by the Bible, if only because hell is described as a punishment for everyone, including all of the demons and Satan. that being said, I prefer Paradise Lost, which paints a much more vivid picture than merely "the good place or the bad place."

In either instance, you end up serving.
People forget that when you come into power, you usually end up doing things you don't want to do to keep the people below you from killing you and enslaving you. Most of the time, that means doing what the peons want to placate them. Or basically doing something to prevent their destruction (because who would you rule over or who would serve you if they were dead).
Basically, you become a servant to your own crown after awhile.

Or basically doing something to prevent their destruction (because who would you rule over or who would serve you if they were dead).

Serve in Heaven. Noone rules in hell, everyone suffers unimaginably, side by side and yet truly alone forever without hope.
