I've tried (and still enjoy) most everything else (barring crack) even though most of it is illegal here.

Actually, injecting drugs extracted from pills (especially extended-release formulations) is just as dumb or even dumber than injecting street drugs because they contain binders that do not dissolve in the bloodstream (and users often don't have the necessary equipment or patience to completely filter these out), possibly clogging up small blood vessels and eventually leading to necrosis and thus amputations.robert01 said:

On a sidenote, why does everyone automatically assume that heroin can only be used intravenously? For their first time, most users probably just snort or smoke the stuff.
having worked at a psychiatric ward, and seen how people destroy their brains (beyond any chance to get something like a decent, stable mind again) with stuff like this, i'll pass, thanks ^^

Well im not scared of needles, but unless its a vaccination im not overly fond of sticking strange pointy objects into my body.

Meth is worse, mostly because of how often it's cooked improperly. Though even when cooked cleanly, it's still the most directly damaging to your body and mind.seraphy said:
As for the OP's question: For the first time, I'd probably treat it the same way I treat marijuana, specifically: if someone offers I take it, but I wouldn't go out looking for it. After that, if I found it worthwhile, I'd continue the same policy. If not, I'd ignore it entirely.
And considering the rarity that someone offers me drugs, I wouldn't be terribly worried about being addicted. 1 dose several months apart should not be nearly enough to build an addiction.
Euhm... no. I would never take Heroin or any other kind of drugs except alcohol. I'd rather not end up in the gutter as a crack junkie who can't even tell what he did 10 minutes ago.
I think heroin is actually pretty harmless to your body, as long as your heroin and your equipment is clean. It is pretty much the most addictive drug out there though, and addiction WILL hurt you, one way or another, so definitely NOT.seraphy said:
As for marijuana, go for it if you're anywhere like Amsterdam or something, it's pretty fun. I'm not a big stoner, but being high as a kite is a pretty unique experience.
