Maid, don't care if it is a guy or girl. I don't have many issues cleaning, but my girlfriend's cats do tend to make a mess (especially if we have a guest that doesn't know how we hide our toilet paper). As for my kitchen, nobody but me touches my kitchen period! My back patio is right outside the kitchen door, where my beautiful grill sits, and I have spent a small fortune (very small, I don't make that much) getting my kitchen exactly the way I want it. I don't need some chef who thinks he knows how to cook ruining my kitchen.

......my kitchen

That or a butler if I had the option. Butlers are awesome.

Why not a butler like this?

OT: I would go for a maid, like many others here I like cooking and don't need a chef. I also hate cleaning. A chef would be nice on occasions, a maid would always be welcome.

A maid, since I enjoy cooking anyway. A maid would save a lot more time than a chef, too.

Edit: On second thought, neither, I value my privacy.

I'm thinking the chef, I don't enjoy cooking all that much and I'm not particularly good at it whereas I don't mind having a mess and you can't really be bad at cleaning. On the other hand a sexy maid who also gives me sexual favors would trump the chef.

Maid. I don't like cleaning.

Cooking isn't too bad and I'm not the fussiest eater.

This one is a little easier on the eyes, as long as you wear ear plugs. And she's still good with kids.

Ack! **hides**

... she looks way too much like one of my ex-girlfriends. One of my CRAZY ex-girlfriends.

Also, she was a Nanny first - that was her job (and the name of that show), not Maid.

Chef. I'm not much of a cook. So long as the chef is in charge of cleanup in the kitchen. I hate cleaning the kitchen as I tend to get carried away. Before I know it I'm dragging the oven away from the wall.

I have no problem cleaning up after myself (or putting up with my own filth, as the case may be).

Chef, because I can put off cleaning more easily and do it at once (whereas I can't just eat all day and go a week without), meaning there is less overall cleaning than cooking to do, and most nights I get home too late to bother cooking anything unless I cook it before I go to Uni and have to freeze it, which isn't as nice. So yeah, cook all the way.

Wait, actually...it would depend on how good the maid is. I can cook passable food, but if it means even metal surface will be like a mirror, every wooden one polished, clothes spotless, bed made, carpet vacuumed, dishes clean and all of that, I might actually go for the maid, because there is no way any of that would happen at all if I was cleaning.

So...definitely the cook over a mediocre maid but definitely the maid if they have cleaning superpowers.

Maid.
I love cooking, and don't like cleaning.
Also, the maid has to be french, wear a french maid outfit and know series one of Game Of Thrones off by heart, and to have read the books.
Just so she knows what our working relationship will be like.

Take that third option! I totally voted main, but you know, maybe her husband buttles, or is at least a talented valet?

I'd ask for a Chef because I'm a very organized and tidy person to begin with, and I don't know how to cook. I'd have healthy, deliciously cooked food every day and any great snacks that I would desire throughout the day or night.

Maid , but she'd have to be female , and wear a french maid suit . Oh and single , and red-headed and have green eyes and be normal weight/fit and open minded about ... Stuff and like it when i make advances on her and have a french accent (eastern european will suffice). Wait what were we talking about again?
Look we have the exact same fetish!
[sub][sub]...exactly the same... I didn't change key details [/sub][/sub]

OT: Honestly either would do if I didn't have to pay for them... or had an accompanying payraise. If I had to choose though probably maid, just 'cause.

I'm going to go with the maid, because of the "I can cook" reason.

I don't leave behind many messes though; I like to keep everything (relatively) clean and tidy. There wouldn't be much for her to do, so I could probably get away with having her perform other roles, like being my chauffeur, public assistant, or an extra pair of hands in other activities. When you sign on a cook, there's really only one thing (s)he's expected to do. The maid seems like the more versatile option.

Of course, if I could just get a butler...
