Pretty much, and every other form of entertainment except that which was developed in the early 1900's(Or used back then, since stuff in the 1900's was around in like, the 1500's entertainment wise)octafish said:

I think these will become more of a necessity as time goes on, and advertisers become more aggressive.
After all, I do NOT want to be accosted by disposable holo-signs offering me "personalized" adverts on my way to work. with more and more of the net being integrated into stuff (IE traffic comps etc..) its not a big stretch to see subway signs with wireless systems and scanners, or even projectors.

i heard that the average British person is caught on camera about 1000 times for every 30 minutes they're outside. that just creeps the shit out of me. was Orwell right.
