Mostly for the zombies and multiplayer with my friends, but we all agreed the campaign should be co-op. In my opinion it's the best cod story yet.

Mainly for Zombies. Also, my old clan (which I'm still friends with) are making the shift over to BlOps, so I either follow them, or find a new group of friends to play CoD 4.
I bought it for the multiplayer, not because it was going to be particularly good, but because my friends and I always come up with our own game which make CoD games a hundred times more fun than the producer ever could.
I will never buy it....
The whole thing lacks innovation, the characters are absurdly impossible to really relate to,
the story is just WEAK.... It's a typical result of a sequel to a very successful game ie. Written by committee and too pussy to try and mix things up.
I wish someone would take an incendiary device to the face of all the people that make these samey FPS bits of filth and bring back adventure games out of their ashes ^_^

I bought it because that's what all my friends will be playing, so i won't be jamming on my own on MW2.
This is my last CoD game. It's not that BO is bad, it's that MW2 came out less than a year ago. BO seems to fix the major problems of MW2 (or at least most of them...), but I'm not paying for another game next year. That being said, I'm really enjoying BO. The wager matches are fun, the maps are good, all that stuff.
I love how 37% of people said they'll never buy it... I bet about 10% are telling the truth and he other 27% are just saying it because it's "cool to hate CoD" or they pirated it.
Because they said 'mostly'. Which bit were you looking forward to most overall? Sure you might want it for everything, but for me I was really interested to see what the campaign has to offer.atled3 said:

Multiplayer mostly, but what finally sold me was the appearance of Reznov. One of my favorite characters ever.
ill get it used, later. Id never buy for just multiplayer purposes, whats the point? in about a year they'll just release another COD game, and everyones gonna jump on that, then the servers for the recent COD goes down and no one plays it. Its going backwards and i refuse to pay $60 for something made by treyarch. At least infinity ward had pretty good writing to make they're campaigns fun.
I'm not buying this game. I already have Modern Warfare 2, and I haven't even Prestiged on that yet. Quite frankly Black Ops doesn't intrest me because the Multiplayer from what I can see is just more of Modern Warfare and the campaign isn't enough to justify the purchase.
I'll admit zombies looks fun, but 1 fun game mode isn't enough to convince me to give bobby Kotick money.

Today, I'll be finally getting it. So, I can't say yet - but I'm definitely getting it for the campaign. And if it doesn't live up to MW2, I won't be happy.
