I shall never buy it!

Mostly 'cause giving Activision money via my WoW subscription is bad enough, and I don't like Call of Duty seeing as the campaign is 8 hours long and I'll never use the multiplayer.

Peer pressure. All my friends were playing it, I didn't want to miss out, like I did on mw2.

I got it for it all really. No point just buying it for one thing. (And why is Zork an option?! I paid £45 for a text adventure game!)

I buy all the COD games for the campaign, I prefer Counter Strike to their multiplayer and I have L4D for zombies. While fun, I have other places to get those things. For me it is all about Mason and the story.

I bought it because I thought it would be awesome, and I'm glad I did because it is.

Campaign is fab, multi is the best in the series by far.

Multiplayer. I love trolling the kind way. Like we were daisy chaining Second Chance pro to piss people off in TDM.

The fine score was 7500 ((my team)) to 1900. They called us hackers. *snicker* oh! So much fun.
That's good, the more people show up the exploits in the game the more likely Treyarch will be to fix that kind of crap. Keep going.

Anyway, haven't got it yet, but it looks balanced and fun, so I'm gonna get it.
I wouldent even call it an exploit. To do it, you have to purchase Second chance ((2000 CoD points)), you have to level it up, which is not an easy feat on its own, and then you have to level it up by paying 5000 more CoD points.

Now have a team of 6 all do that. Its not broken. You can still die from explosives or headshots, and your teammate has to accually pick you up, during which time your both more or less defenceless and open to be killed.

We were only able to do it, because we were all working in unison and moving as a group.

IF I buy it, it'll be because of those damn zombies. I'll probably put in some time on Dead Ops and Zork, and try the ACTUAL game, too, but I doubt I'll like the campaign/multiplayer as much as Zombies and Zork.

Come to think of it, that's what they should have released it as. Zombies and Zork. Fuck everything else.

I bought it primarily for the multiplayer, but with every intention of playing the campaign. By which I mean that I knew the MP was always going to take up more of my time.
It helps that it really is a lot better than MW2 in both respects, although the theme of the game would have lent itself well to some more Spec Ops missions...

Never bought a CoD game and never will...

I get enough of american patriotism from tv and other games..

Plus that i cant see the fun in a game, where the team with the guy who has most killstreaks wins...

Treyarch works for Activision. It's Infinity Ward that you're thinking about.

(and Infinity Ward ALSO works for Activision)

Haven't bought it, and I'm sure as hell not going to for the multi-player, which is the exact same as MW and MW2, both of which I've grown tired of. Single-player could be interesting, but as earlier mentioned it's very short (all CoD games have less actual play-time for campaigns than it says on the box, some times A LOT less), and not worth the pile of money they want for it... Maybe if it goes on sale some day... *laughs ironically*

Why isn't this answer an option on the poll?
Because they said 'mostly'. Which bit were you looking forward to most overall? Sure you might want it for everything, but for me I was really interested to see what the campaign has to offer.
No, seriously, why isn't that an option? You just said "sure you might want if for everything"... Exactly! There should be an alternative! Just cause the campaign drew you in more than the other aspects, doesn't mean others can't feel equally drawn to it by all elements?
If I had that as an option, EVERYONE would select that.

Edit: Sorry for double post

Can't say I agree, if you're killed, you should be dead, being revived is total bull.

For practically everything.

Fun campaign + Great multiplayer that's been improved over the craziness that was MW2 + JFK fighting zombies + Smash TV style bonus minigame = Well worth the $65 I paid on launch-night.

But thats the thing though. You can kill us. Flamethrower attachment, noobtubes, rockets, nades, claymores, headshots. There are still a dozen ways to make second chances a useless perk.

Ive never been killed by a guy in second chance before. They arnt that big of a threat. Infat, they have a special animation to show you theyer going into second chance, so you know to keep shooting.
Because of the cost to get it, the challanges involved to upgrade it to pro, and the fact your teammate has to be completely defenceless while he picks you up, it becomes a very balanced perk.
