I say "George, what are you spending all this money on? Do you have an SSD tucked away underneath Skywalker Ranch waiting to take over the planet? Please don't force choke me, it was a valid question..."
Seriously WTF does this guy need with money anyway with his re-release and massive Star Wars retcons? And what the hell is his fascination with the "KHAN!" scenes being put in with Darth Vader?

To be honest, I'd probably ask him for a job.

Can't turn down a chance to work for Lucas Films. That's a prestigious job and a half, right there.

Not bother him? Not publicly condemn him for changing *his* franchise to *his* liking?

Really, it is his world, and I'm willing to let him govern it. I don't think it's our place to tell him how it should or should not be.

I'd engage in conversation, maybe ask for an autograph and if I get the opportunity to without sounding like a nut I'd ask him "what happened man?" I'd just like to find out if he went crazy somewhere in the Mid 90s or if he just developed a deep burning hatred for Star Wars fans.

Probably walk on. I don't really think I'd interact with celebrities ever, just because they never live up to your expectations.

They're just normal people, and I think they should be able to do their shopping without getting fanboys yelling at them the whole time.

I'd shout 'Han shot first!' then break down and shout 'NOOOOOO!!!!'

But not really because thats stupid, I'd just not talk to him, post his location on Twitter and wait for Simon Pegg to arrive so he can deal with Lucas.
You didn't specify which Simon Pegg character, so I'm now thinking of a mixture of all of them attacking Lucas.

And it is AWESOME.
I've now got the scene from Shaun of the Dead in my head. You know the one where they run around the zombie in circles hitting it in the head with the blunt objects. Which puts a mile on my face as I imagine George Lucas falling to his knees and promising to change everything back, while removing Jar Jar from existence.

If I had to speak to him for an extended period, I'd ask him why he's making all these changes when all the fans want is a visual update. Maybe I can convince him to at least let fans have the option of just watching the originals with the visual clean-ups.

I'd punch him and say,"Thanks for destroying one of the greatest Sci-Fi series ever made" I'm hoping that once Lucas is dead, someone from his company will have the brains to release the original trilogy unaltered on Blu-Ray. Unfortunately, knowing Lucas, he'll have some bullshit in his will preventing that. The man is a menace to culture and art. I should probably go get copies of all the Indiana Jones trilogy before he "improves" those as well.

Either do a quick double take and be amazed at my luck, or if I'm feeling brave--and rude--enough, walk up and ask for his autograph.

Trick him into having gay sex with me, then sue him claiming he gave me super AIDS...bwaahahaha.
Seriously though, episodes I-III are fucking terrible. I think I hate episode I the most though.

I am truely amazed by how balanced to poll is so far. I would have thought more people would go for the right hook, given all the Bashing he recieved during the last weeks.

Thank him for the original trilogy and for allowing KotOR and TOR.

I would have to ask what the hell was going on when he was making the prequels though.

Say "Why won't you just do one Director's Cut and forever leave Star Wars alone and move onto something else? While you are at the rerelease the original with cleaned up audio on that box set too." That would be it really. Star Wars was good but some of the changes don't really add what he says they do and it more like taking a side ways step than one forward or back. I don't have anything against but I just wish he would stop adding things like "No" and Hayden's ghost except in a DC edition rather than the normal edition.

I would say its nice to meet him. OK the prequels are not great movies in my opinion but I loved those movies as a kid. And the orignal trilogy is amazing. I can't thank him enough for so many good memories of Star Wars. The franchise is overall a mixed bag, but a mixed bag I love so much still today.

Actually it seems like he had very little to do with episode 4 and 5 and he stepped in during 6....Ewoks, that's where they came from.

Obviously I would yell "No... NOOOOOOOO!" just to see his reaction (or inevitable facepalm) and then ask for his autograph. He is famous after all, it's probably worth something.
