Life on earth is alot more resilient than we give it credit for, its survived through numerous mass extinctions ten times worse than anything we could ever do. If a nuclear war occured there would always be one pocket of life left, if we over pollute nature will adapt and survive, even right now there are a few species of bacteria that are eating up all that plastic we dump everywhere.squidbuddy99 said:I think that the human race is the worst thing to happen to the planet Earth. We as a species are instinctivly violent, greedy, and selfish. I'm not saying that all people are evil, since many people have managed to move past that. Most people, however, don't deserve any sympathy. I know that sounds kinda sociopathic, but even I admit that I'm not perfect, and I'm probably damaging the Earth and it's creatures just be existing. I just learn to live with that.JoJoDeathunter said:Robot uprising, then atleast some form of sentience would survive.
Out of interest does that mean you hate yourself and your family & friends too?squidbuddy99 said:Plus, I loathe the human race, and it's needed a good trimming for the past century.
The human race is actually on of the least violent animals on Earth. We were once nomadic peoples, migratiing across the planet striping places bare of their plants and animals, then we discovered farming. We now keep those creatures alive and in check to continuosly serve us, sure we may sometimes hunt untamed creatures to extinction, but we learned from those mistakes. Unlike other species, ours can correct its mistakes. Remember the Wooly Mammoth, the giant furry elephant we hunted to extintion near the dawn of man? Yeah, we're currently attempting to bring it back through cloning. Another thing I'd like to point out is that no other species is humble enough (nor capable of) demonising itself in light of past mistakes.
OT: I'd enjoy a robot uprising just because they'd still carry one the Human legacy just by the fact that we made them.
