A group of brilliant scientists design a device that can create a black hole. They prepare to activate it on live television. December 21st 2012 - Doomsday

This date has been prophesized by many cultures. Mayans, Chinese, Romans, Christians and several others have believed this to be the end of the world.

I wont get into scientific theories and all that crap, but I do believe something is going to happen. Call me crazy, because I think I am anyways.

Huge number of the '70s style slow ones, mind you, not the silly running ones.
It would make for a great Us against Them kind of attitude, and who doesn't want to blow zombie heads off?

I've got another reason to want that ending, but I'll keep that to myself. It'll scare the children.
