Hamill. Ledger was good, yes, but he wasn't that funny. Mark however, is.

I can't decide between Ledger and Hamill. They are kind of different though, so I can't compare that well. Let's call this a tie.

he's supposed to be someone you can look at and go "oh look a funny clown" but when you get closer to him you go "ummm there's something really wrong with that clown, i don't know if i like him that much, he's starting to scary me". that's the thing that they missed with Heath's Joker
Do you seriously consider that there is even one kid in the world who wouldn't run away at the sight of the Joker? All of the Jokers have been far more terrifying and creepy than any clown. Ever.

but the thing is at first glance, all of them seem to be semi-normal clowns compared with Heath's that you could obviously tell was crazy

so yes there's a lot of kids that would run up to the Joker and think he's a nice clown, it's happened many times in the comic and the cartoons

for me it's Mark Hamill

while Heath did a good job, him or the script writer missed the whole point of the Joker. The Joker is not to supposed to be just crazy and do crazy things, he's supposed to always do things for a laugh and a joke cause it's fun.

he's supposed to be someone you can look at and go "oh look a funny clown" but when you get closer to him you go "ummm there's something really wrong with that clown, i don't know if i like him that much, he's starting to scary me". that's the thing that they missed with Heath's Joker
Wow, that's the first time I've seen someone articulate my sentiments about Heath Ledger's Joker.

I felt that it missed the point too, that he wasn't funny at all. To me he just came across as some crazy, rambling, homeless bum rather than the Clown Prince of Crime.

Some people have said to me that the Joker isn't supposed to be funny, and that Heath Ledger's crazy Joker is the best, but he just reminded me of this crazy tramp I used to know, who was an alcoholic and an acid casualty, and used to ramble incoherently and shout at pigeons and cars.

Ledger's Joker was like a Riddler who never asks any questions, or a Penguin played by Vin Diesel wearing a tracksuit, instead of being an eccentric, short, fat, ugly guy in a tuxedo.

Jack Nicholson.
Didn't like Ledger much.
And unfortunately I never saw the other too.

I'll say Mark Hamill, it was basically perfect and this was coming from someone who isn't really a fan of Batman.

(This was from my experience with Arkham Ayslum.)

What the hell did I just watch!? If that's going towards the really F*cked up side of joker of a non-killing point that this WINS by a million miles. But seriously WHAT THE F*CK WAS THAT!?!?!?!
What you saw was Shotaro and Philippe transforming into Kamen Rider W's "standard" form: Cyclone Joker.

It was either that or post a picture of the Joker Undead:
WHY DIDN'T YOU GO WITH THAT!? at least this picture can't make someone have a seizer from stupidity and creepiness and go through a week of therapy! My therapist is starting to aspect me to come these days because of you guys O_O

I gotta go with Mark Hamill, with Jack Nicholson as a close second. Mark Hamill's job was amazing and nobody, I repeat, nobody could do that psychotic laughter like him.

Ok now it's just getting creepy. how does this even go towards Joker. The guy doesn't even have a laugh! That guy is just some fag in a modified power rangers suit!

As a franchise, this predates Power Rangers by about 20 years, and has as much in common with Cyborg 009.

And it was just supposed to be a quick joke about the name "Joker" being used for a few of Kamen Rider W's forms, but you just had to make me go and post more stuff. :p

But if it's "faggery" you want:

it's the same thing with Tom Lee Jones as Two-Face in Batman Forever, they never flipped his coin and only went with the "two of everything" schtick

and hey Vin Diesel in a track suit would make and awesome Penguin

I've only seen Heath's Joker, so I'll go with that.

I did like Hamill in Arkham Asylum, though, so that would be my second choice.
