pretty simple question guys .
What is your favorite game that is made by the Rockstar and why ?

my favorite game from R* has to be BULLY. it was such an amazing game that took me by surprise by how good it actually was. Great story, amazing characters, amazing setting, simple yet very addicting gameplay, lots of fun things to do , very humorous, oozes charm . this game was so good that my most wanted sequel is Bully 2.
words cannot do justice how awesome this game is.just today i started my third playthrough of the game and its still amazing fun. if you haven't yet played this game i strongly suggest you give this game a shot. you will thank me for it.

GTA: SA, which is really odd because there is nothing I despise more then the "gangsta" retardation, and yet the game is serious, silly and crazy all at the same time, last great GTA for me.

Out of the ones I played, I would say Vice City, I loved the setting. Looking forward to GTAV now!

Since Max Payne was made by Remedy (besides 3, anyway), I haven't played Bully or Red Dead Redemption and didn't like GTA IV, it's a toss up between GTA III, San Andreas or Vice City.

So I'll pick Vice City, solely based on the fact that it included this Easter Egg referencing the origins of GTA (and my home city)

[sub] GTA was originally created by DMA Design, a company based in Dundee. They also made Lemmings. Also they are now Rockstar North, and are now based in Edinburgh[/sub]

Simple??? Those are all amazing games you have up there. I don't know if I should vote GTA III because it got the sandbox ball rolling, Vice City because it improved it or San Andreas because it improved it even more. Conversely I love Bully, the Max Payne games and (not listed) Red Dead Revolver.

(I voted Vice City because it's the only GTA I've replayed/invested the most time, plus I like the characters in it, and the '80s/Scarface vibe).

Captha: think twice.

Figures.

There is only one right answer. If you answer incorrectly, then...let me show you my rubber band ball.

Has to be Red Dead for me. I spent far too many enjoyable hours picking flowers.

There were manly things to do too...

Voted other.

Body Harvest on the Nintendo 64, developed by DMA Design, which was the original name for Rockstar North. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas actually features a mission called "Body Harvest" as a tribute to the game.

Runner up would be Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. I'm a big fan of campy 80's stuff, so the world of that game was right up my alley.

As for Max Payne... the only one I really loved was the first, and that one wasn't Rockstar, it was Remedy. Rockstar Toronto merely ported it to the PS2.

For me it has to be Vice City.

I love the way the plot is more or less Scarface, I love the fact that it's not a grey/brown cityscape but it's full of vibrant colour, I love the music, I love that the main character is voiced by Ray Leotta... I'll stop now because if I go on any longer I'll look like such a fanboy.

Fuck...that's hard. I thought GTA 4 was a fantastic game, and I've spent more hours on that than San Andreas (Surprising, considering how much more there is to do and how bigger the map is than 4). Red Dead Redemption was an amazing game, and the best Ol' West game I've ever played. The map was huge and there was a tonne of stuff to do. Not to mention it had the best DLC to ever exist (Head shot only zombies? The amount of piss excreted whilst wandering a dark, snowy forest...also, zombie cougars. Fuck that shit!). Max Payne 3 was easily the best Max Payne game to me, and possibly the best third persn action game I've played ever. The voice acting was spot perfect, the gunplay was tight but not incredibly restrictive, and the story was incredibly well written.

But from the looks of it, GTA 5 seems like it might beat at least GTA 4 and Red Dead. Assuming the story is excellent and the voice acting is better, it might even beat Max Payne 3.

Plex keep in mind this is all entirely my opinion. Which is worthless on the internet, since I liked the new Star Wars trilogy over the old, and hate cats.

Midnight club III: Dub Edition Remix is where it is at. That game is still the best racing game of all time.

Red Dead Redemption. Truly a (buggy) masterpiece in my eyes.

An interesting narrative, well crafted environments with plenty to do, quirky characters (Especially Irish. That guy was nuts), and dat ending... oh god, dat ending.

And the music was very fitting of the atmosphere.

I just love RDR to bits. It's one of the best games I've played this gen.

I am tempted to say one of the earlier GTA's...

But I'll go with Red Dead Redemption. It was SO amazing when it came out and I still go back to it from time to time. Spending literally hours hunting, collecting flowers or doing side quests and just getting completely side tracked from the main story and not even caring.
