okay... how come nobody has said the word "Ultra".

Specificly

of the "lisk" variety.

there especially awsome in two now that they do AOE damage


also nobody has mentioned my favorite protoss unit, The immortal, those hardend sheilds make it an extreamly versitile unit.
I honestly don't understand why i have never seen a really immortal heavy build. Their great for tanking. and their the only ground unit that just tanks

and as for terran...

Well... i don't find any of their units considerably intresting.

Those wings arent pointless. They are her weapons and also resistant to psi-blades.

They arn't good for flying so I see them as pointless wings. Now as weapons, they are pretty good especially with the whole regenerating in a few seconds thing.

Protoss Phoenix. You grab people off the ground, haul them into the air with a tractor beam, and shred them with lasers in midair. Why is it that tractor beams have never been used to do this before?

The diamondback...being able to run AND shoot is evil, and they are HOVERTANKS with cool railguns.
I also love the predator. 3 of them with an upgrade can wipe out a zergling rush quickly and maybe even take a bite out of a the hydralisks behind those zerglings. They are even somewhat effective against zealots! not nearly as good against zealots as they are against zerglings though...

Hero unit - I'd have to say Sarah Kerrigan. She's someone I can actually imagine taking over the galaxy, she's ruthless, has a tactical mind and she doesn't let honour get in the way of her paranoia/ambition. Not to mention her tragic backstory, I can't think of a video game villain I've wanted to defeat and want to see saved so badly.

Non-hero unit - I'd have to say the Queen. More because her saying "We require more vespene gas" is just chilling enough to stay in my mind without making my ears bleed. It really sounds as though she's whispering in your ear as you play at times.

Not a proper game unit, I guess, since it only appears in the campaign, but:
Tychus Findley, inside the Odin. No competition.
Pure, concentrated awesome.

I like the Dark Templars... they are just pure win (Until Terrans put up a load of missile turrets or Protoss get their observers...)

My favorite unit would be Kerrigan. I played as her on a hero seige map.

EDIT: Favorite unit feels kinda weird to me, if anything I have favorite counters or composition. However, the viking is quite dependable, so I would have to go with that.

Why is there no Banshee? I'm shocked. It's my favorite unit by far. Be it mid or lategame, Banshees wreak havoc on any ones economy. More or less, depending on the enemy strategy. But at silver and gold league, you catch most players by surprise. I even got the COllectors edition just for the Nightelf Banshee portrait. There is nothing better in the whoooooole world :3
