Well Mass Effect 2 is about 3x better than all the games played this year combined, so...

- BioShock 2. Really good game but in the end, where's the news?

- Bad Company 2. Extremely lackluster single player but awesome multiplayer.

- God of War 3. Too gruesome albight fun, bad story, fake morality sections.

Good impression of New Vegas as far though with the amount of references, this game will make a serious try at my GOTY.

Since Minecraft doesn't count due to not actually being complete yet, my vote goes to ME2.

Mass Effect 2, although AssCreedBros is out next week so it's going to be a tough competition.

On a side-note, this year has gone really fucking fast.
AssCreedBros (Hehe) is out next month on the 19th of November. Sorry to break the bad news.
Maybe he lives in the FUUUUTURE!!!

I'd hardly call Super SF4 a standalone game, it doesn't have nearly the same amount of content as, say, Dragon Quest 9 (my GOTY, followed at some distance by SMG2)to justify not being a downloadable expansion pack, and it won't do until it's available on a platform where the original version isn't available.

Red Dead Redemption is currently winning, because of its vast single-player and multiplayer modes, with great story and missions for the former and long replayablility for the latter. Very good indeed. And It shall only be getting better with Undead Nightmare.

I can't really name any other massively AMAZING games that came out this year...

Well, maybe Splinter Cell: Conviction.... That's certainly fun.

Then again, I still need to play Fallout: New Vegas and Call Of Duty: Black Ops

I have found most games this year disappointing except Pokemon HG & SS which surpassed my expectations.

I know, but just because it is an updated version of a previous game doesn't mean it can't be counted. I mean, look at Fallout New Vegas. It's a great game but it's practically identical to Fallout 3 apart from a few enhancements.

Mass Effect 2 until now.

Depends really on what other games will come out until the end of the year.

Just coz I'm a Naruto fag. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. Awesome awesome game. XD
How in the hell do they do it?

How is it that most of the Naruto games managed to not suck?

Except for the Ninja Council games...
It's because they don't really focus on all the flashbacks and monologues of the Naruto series and just focus on making a good fighting game XD

Haven't played any of them.
I'm gonna have to say Bad Company 2 because that's the only game I own madein 2010.

A few months ago, I would have said Mass Effect 2 like everyone else. Partly because it was the only 2010 game I'd played at that point, but mostly because it was brilliant.

Then Halo: Reach came along and pounded it summarily into the dirt. Repeatedly.

So Halo: Reach gets my vote, for sure.
