Really? It was in the first Blizzard press release about it. They've pre-empted it.

It would have been a better pre-emption if they hadn't put them in at all, but I'm staying content in the knowledge that Tauren look awesome in Plate armour.

After 3 years playing, I'd like to carry on but there just isn't anything to do bar stay up all night every night raiding or grinding achievements. It does look good though, but not really enough content.

Yeah, I can say I'm pretty excited. Particularly the guild advancement system, and the way water is gonna look is QUITE an improvement.

Also, anyone knows what will happen to the Barrens chat? I don't know whether I should expect it to be doubled or halved...

Unfortunately, I have not seen the water yet.
And as for Barrens chat, I don't think it will be as notorious as the original, but I theorize that the game will get some Barrens chattiness because of the new content. Barrens chat was mainly due to new players not knowing what do do, thus spamming general chat for help and sheer randomness.

I'm sure as hell never playing that game again, but it looks good and really impressed me. One of my main problems with WoW was that it hadn't changed per se in such a long time. The fact that they're actually remodeling the original world is a breath of fresh air.

I quite like the look of it. I only started about a month ago so I'm still on vanilla WoW but I'm really liking the look of the Worgen. Although the first month after Cataclysm will have servers crammed with them.

The first few months after big expansions kinda scare me. Locked severs, tons of new people in the starting zones, a lot of lag; one of the downfalls to expansions.

I've basically quit WoW, but I'm planning on getting a 2 month subscription every time they come out with a new expansion, just to check out the new content.

After two cycles of hard gear reboots, and the general shit nature of WotLK, I hung it up on WoW for good. There is nothing really novel to do in the game that won't grow stale after a month or two, imo.

I haven't looked very closely at Cataclysm, so maybe my opinion isn't fair. But I'm not getting sucked back into it.

I'm not excited about the new 80 - 85; but the new 1 - 60 content; I'm a altoholic and I hate the 1 - 60 compared to BC and Wotlk, So, the new story based - exciting quests may be the push I need for more hours of gameplay.
