I'm an enviromentalistic socialist.I't was a real headbanger on sunday , during the elections(Germany) , when the partys that came to power, were the christian democrats(basicly republicans with 3 more braincells) and the Liberal party. that combination will run germany from what it is now, to something like the U.S.. nothing against americans, but I prefer going to work without feer of being kiced out at any moment and then landing on the streets, because i can't pay my rent. And letting old Nucler powerplants back online, is suicide(I someone really wants to blow one up , He won't stop at anything). The ony thing I could say about my goverment, was that It was socialist, but now? Schwartz/gelb sucks.

I believe that the world's problems could be solved using an indiscriminate plague that somehow released a rush of dopamine at the moment of death. So the human race would die smiling.

That either makes me a Republican or a Liberal. Depends on which of those two groups is accusing.

To be fair he was the only president to be seen in a Nazi Uniform. Granted it was a movie role but still.

OT: I am a Democrat. I still have faith in Obama and even if he dosen't succeed he will simply be just another president that did nothing.

Generally, my beliefs tend to align with liberals. Though I can't say I'm absolutely one thing--because there are things I'm conservative about (I wouldn't want them to take away guns in the USA) but there just happen to be more things I'm liberal about (abortion rights, gay marriage, support for national health care and such).

Both parties have respectable ideas and both have ideas I cringe from.

That said, I think Obama is awesome and he truly does have this country's best interests at heart and mind. I absolutely respect him and wish him only the best.

Indifferent, the issues I really care about refused to be addressed by any party because they are too touchy a subject.
I honestly don't give a shit about most issues although I can't imagine why people can't let other people do whatever the hell they want as long as it doesn't actually effect them.

I prefer "moderate" over "Centrism" as a term, but generally I have no ties. To keep it simple I'm a moderate that leans right and happens to be rather Libertarian, but generally the way I see it is giving a label is absolutely foolish.

I tend to piss everyone around me off, though. When I was at College people thought I was right-winged because I endlessly bitched about liberals and democrats. When I'm at home, however, I'm confronted with an extremely conservative and republican family and it drives me nuts. I keep hearing people try and talk about what's ruining this country, mostly my family saying "it's all this free sex" or whatever the Hell, but the real problem is there is no compromise. People have to be willing to sacrifice certain things they feel are right for others.

But nope, everyone on the left things they are intellectually enlightened, and the ones on the right think they are morally superior. Both are so full of their own shit they can't even see how stupid both sides are.
I agree I hate the democrats for calling me "rascist" and "elitist" because I don't like it when my tax dollars go to other peoples benefit and not mine when I'm trying hard enough to get a college fund as it is, and I hate republicans for their inability to turn the other shoulder to people who do "grave sins".
Huzzah! I sorta thought I was alone on this one. I'm Centrist with a twinge towards conservative libertarian, but only just ever so slightly. Everyone hates the middle man, and I think that was best summed up by that game "Gray", I think it was called. Once you settle down into the middle camp, its hard to talk to people on either side.

If I remeber correctly, the country went into a major econmic decline under the Bush administration. It seems unfair to blame the Obama administration for things that occured when he wasen't in office. A similar case happened when Martin Van Buren took office after Andrew Jackson. Jackson had some good points but his distrust of big banks led the country into economic turmoil and when Jackson left they blamed Van Buren.

I don't think Bush was a bad president but he's what I call Jackson good. Some good points here and there but he also has some negative aspects. The multiple tragic events that occured under his Presidency showed me that he could handle himself quite well when faced with tragedy but he is often hated mainly for the Iraq war.

Start with a base of technocracy and traditional conservatism, add some hate for the Reds, a dash of anti-liberalism, a heap of anti-welfare and a handful of pro-Law.

And you get me, basically. An anti-communist, anti-welfare, anti-liberal Capitalist Conservative with a bit of Technocracy mixed in, who thinks that the Law is the most important thing.
That reflects on your user name

I dont know why Conservative and Republican are put together. In my mind they are totaly different.

I consider myself a Conservative but not a Republican. Of course I guess I am rather more not liking to be affiliated with any part of the American Govt.

I dont think we all need guns, that rich people should get more tax breaks or that companies should be allowed to run without much over sight.
Conservatives support the status qlo duh...

I would call myself a Liberal Democrat in terms of British Politics. I know they won't get in though. :(

Damn you Cameron.
