conservative, authoritarian.
i vote republican, but rarely agree with either parties politics.
i hate to say either nazi or communist but, leaning more in that direction when it comes to execution of policy.
i feel strongly against the spending of money, establishment of social programs (i.e. health care, welfare, social security), in favor of use of force against dangerous international elements (i.e. terrorists, iran, N. korea until they went nuclear), support privitiazation of many government programs.
i also feel that cultural issues like homosexuality, abortion, education, should be handled by individuals not the government. i am christian. i think that neither video games nor guns cause violence, crazy people do.

how many of you would vote for me?

will keep tally if i get more than two.

Socialist-Democrat, the perfect mixture of government and business has yet to be found, but I'm hopeful. I love my guns, dislike the extremists of both sides, but respect there positions...

I am kind of a communist; I think a communist society would be a good thing but I believe it is fundamentally impossible for humans to pull off correctly

I am a Left Libertarian, an Individualist Anarchist and an Agorist.

Left Libertarian - I am a libertarian because I oppose all initiatory violence. Coercion is immoral and unnecessary for human fulfillment. I am a 'left' libertarian because I oppose what I regard as inconsistencies and counter-principles to libertarianism, such as political parties, voting, and minarchy. I am against the Libertarian Party and I die a little inside every time it fails to live up to its name. I also bring with me certain values of the contemporary political left, such as anti-racism, multiculturalism (in a voluntary and non-relativistic sense), and anti-patriarchy.

Individualist Anarchist - A philosophical libertarian- like a pacifist- is an anarchist by default. I fall into the individualist strain of anarchy because I uphold property rights for individuals. I do oppose communism, but I think there is a reconciliation and a compromise to be made between anarcho-communists and individualists. On the other hand, I sometimes wonder why we share a label- we oppose different things, we support different things, and we advocate different means.

Agorist - agora- ancient Greek for 'market'. I am an Agorist because I advocate a strategy of employing and expanding a free market outside of state control/interventions and individual property rights as weapons against the state. This is a new name for the very oldest of Anarchist strategies. Agorism is also a market process of strategy selection- entrepreneurs attempt new strategies and the most efficient are selected while the least fall to competition. An Agorist fully condones all civil disobedience and black market activity. But an Agorist viciously condemns 'red market' activity- violence, theft or fraud- conducted by states or individuals regardless of motivation.

A^3 - Agora! Anarchy! Action!

I'm fiscally conservative and that's as far as I take it with 99% of people I talk to. I'm a very politically minded person, but I'm sick of talking about it with people. Everyone thinks they are right even when it's painfully obvious they aren't.

Democratic Australia (Y)
Hell Yeah Brother!

I'm a Rudd supporter (not a labor supporter, though I wouldn't ever vote liberal). Most politicians are bastards anyway and never deliver on what they promise to, though everyone knows that anyway. I also must say that I'm in favor of an Australian Republic.

I just pray that a third party candidate will at some point manage to show people that there's more than just two parties in America.
Yes but then you get a Parliament like ours [Canada's] who is constantly in a minority government, and no party can anything done, because the other parties want power to see if they can mess up what the last party did, and then you get the extremists who, instead of moving towards a more unified country, would rather break it up, and become their own separate state, while still gaining substantial tax breaks, and equalization payments, and maintaining the same currency. That my friend is the worst example of a democratic multiparty system, maybe there's a country that can pull it off, but we sure can't.

Anger aside I'm a moderate neo-conservative [which in essence was what the liberals used to be] I do agree with most privatization except utilities [I'm Albertan] and I think that universal health care is a must so I'm on the fence with the Conservative Party, only because I hate what the NDP wants to do to the country, don't like what old Liberals have done to the country, and will not support a man who is willing to destroy a country so that he can be leader of a glorious new state

I'm a meritocrat. Which means those who are talent and competent are in power instead of those who cannot be trusted.

In my political beliefs im a centralist. Pro abortion, stem cells and rights to bear arms. People are gonna find ways to kill each other with or without guns anyway.

I don't have that good a term but I generally describe myself as liberal, half out of having views considered liberal (universal health care, socially liberal, etc.)
Universal health care is certainly not a liberal idea, as it represents a form of taxation that is not directly tied to preservation of civil liberties. While I will agree it may play a part in social liberalism, it's a part of "social" rather than "liberalism" in that ideology.

I really don't see how any logical or reasonable person could be COMPLETELY liberal or COMPLETELY conservative.
I agree! The only logical choice is to be completely socialist.

However, I can tell the OP that The Escapist is generally more liberal-leaning
Well, not really. He's a self-described communist. And liberalism, while born out of the same issues, is probably even further from socialism than conservatism is.

Actually, fundamentalist Marxists (I'll include Marxist-Leninists) are freaking everywhere. They make up a very large portion of those who ascribe to communism.
While I agree with that point, I question your inclusion of Marxism-Leninism as fundamental communism. Leninism makes a very clear sidestep away from Marxist ideals by advocating a revolutionary elite, thereby negating the premise that all men are equal.

Personally, I'm a syndicalist [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syndicalism] and democratic socialist [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_socialism]. That means I want to gather the means of production into the hands of the trade unions, and govern the rest of society through direct democracy [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_democracy]. I'll settle for social democracy [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_democracy] (not to be confused with social democratic parties, because those are generally social liberal thanks to the "third way"), though.

Collectivist/Syndicalist Anarchist, although I'll generally settle for a libertarian style socialism based on direct democracy, I also have mutualist sympathies.

So what you're saying is that you are a christian whose FOR use of force?

Wow, did you miss out on that whole peaceful "turn the other cheek" ideology that Jesus preached or what?

I wouldn't vote for you. I tend to dislike hypocrites like you.

I would fight to overhtrow you though if you ever got elected, even stooping to terrorism if that's what it takes. : )

The Political Compass test puts me deep in the Libertarian Left section but my interest in politics is very limited because, if I'm honest, it all seems like such a massive clusterfuck and I don't understand any of it.

As for who I actually vote for, I wander between Labour and Liberal Democrat based on their policies at the time of voting.

I'm some sort of communist I but I don't know which one other than that I don't believe that communism can be reached through revolution.

I picked, "I don't care about politics," but in hindsight this isn't quite the best choice. "Other" is more like it. I do actually follow politics and issues in passing. I'm not devoted or extraordinarily interested, but I generally know what's going on.

Now, if you took the sum total of my political and moral views, you'd probably get something that would be described by most people as, " slightly right-wing moderate."

However, I refuse label myself as affiliated to any typical party or stance at all, because people have bastardized the whole system into buzzwords that don't even come close to approximating what the actual beliefs and ideals of a mindset actually are. And taking everything someone believe and adding it all up can be an often very poor estimation of a person's voting habits.

Personally, I don't vote in anything - and I mean anything - unless it's either mandatory or I feel very strongly about it. The last time I can remember voting was 2006, when my parents dragged me to the polls for the federal election. I know my attitude drives some people absolutely insane, but those are the sorts of people who haven't though hard enough about politics and the way some people see the world.
