Poll: Your reloading habits.

Compulsive. I reload if I have a spare moment and not a full clip.

Often gets me killed, but so does not reloading, so it's hard to find a balance.

Alright Escapist, when do YOU reload?

Personally, I'm in the habit of reloading after every kill, mainly because I like having a full clip. But also because of paranoia that I'll get caught with my pants down, reloading in the middle of a shoot-out.

I have that same paranoia about reloading after every kill. Unfortunately... it usually is when there's more than one guy near me.

My reloading habits have changed depending on the game, in CoD, its reload after every kill, in Neotokyo, its only reload if I can't kill with the remainder of my clip (clips are discarded upon reloading them, you only get around 4 clips for your gun), and in CS I look around and make sure the room is clear before reloading.

I usually forget to reload, but when I do remember to do it, it's usually from cover or while running to cover.

Well since the ammo inside your mag disappears when you reload in Battlefield 2, I reload when I notice bullets in my magazine running out..
but usually after a kill.. that works too

Assault Rifle: Always
Shotgun: When I'm almost empty.
Sniper: Don't really need to reload all the time. I never miss.

not after every kill but pretty often. it depends on the game. in borderlands i always go with weapons i simply don´t have to reload that often because i´d go for a big clip size so i always have a few bullets left. in team fortress 2 i reload all the time because i´m in constant panic.

I reload constantly, even if I haven't got the kill. I might as well ensure that, if I get another shot at my soon to be victim, he gets the full clip. Hence why possibly my favourite perk in CoD games is Sleight of Hand, now improved by making snipers even more deadly at close range.

I usually reload after firing if I haven`t already used up the whole clip.

I reload the instant it seems safe. Which usually gets me killed because theres always that one guy you don't always see.

I just reload when it's safe. But most of the time I'm a sniper when the game/map allows, so it is usually quite safe.
