This topic fails.

1) You didn't use the Search Bar, this has been done about 4 times
2) There isn't a 'no' option
3) You're paranoid.

As in a rabies/lisser epidemic?
Sure.
As in the dead rising from their graves?
...
I doubt it, but I'm far from omniscient.
Depends on how you define omniscient.

No one can ever be omniscient. Ever.
How would you know?
There might be.
EDIT: Someone omniscient, that is.
Yes but omniscience changes from person to person. Take time for example. There's "different parallel universe whenever a decision is made" theory (the name escapes me). If someone was omniscient, they would have to know what happens in each and every different universe. Then, if someone believes in God. You must see where I'm going with this.

P.S. I retract my statement, I meant it is near impossible (so near, it's practically impossible).
Yeah, this is more or less my argument for religion.
"Do you believe there is a God?"
"Maybe. How am I supposed to know?"

It's...
Just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean it isn't real.
Woah, let's not get into religion! [sub]PM me for religion speak[/sub]

I was just stating my views on omniscience.

I believe a zombie outbreak will occur and once all the zombies are defeated the human population is back to 3 Billion and then the events of the Apocalypse happen.

Tell me you've seen Let the Right One in.
Of course - it's one of my favourite movies. :D
I still need to get around to reading the book though.

I meant romantic in a different sense though. Like in the way the whole concept of vampires is beautiful.
Are you beating around the bush?

Twilight. I said it. I remember watching Underworld 1 before my girlfriend dragged me to Twilight.
Ah right. :D
No I wasn't talking about Twilight at all.
[sub]Though Alice more than made up for the movie's flaws. :p[/sub]

Twilight's vampires were too perfect - like gods or something. I think vampires should have more of an animal side.
Like the way Eli slips around on the snow in LTROI. It shows that she's not perfect - more like a beast than a god.

Hold on, I need to find a thing I said before

Yeah it would be possible, theoretically.

If the virus takes out everything except the "reptile" part of the brain (The one telling us to eat, fight and run), you would have point one and two.

Now if you made it so it infects the spit too, it would go into the wound and infect the blood of the bitten

Pretty scary, huh
Now you know how to make a zombie.

Have fun apocalypse-ing
YEaaahhh no. There is no 'reptile' part of the brain.
I think he means the part that controls our basic instincts.

No, no it could not. Does it really need to be explained why?
The poll options are quite stupid as well.

Also, when did Zombies come back into fashion, for god's sake! I hate zombie threads!
Me too. They're one of the only things that actually get me frustrated.
Why are zombies even "cool"? They're not scary/amazing/useful in any way.

I much prefer the vampire thing - at least that has a romantic aspect, not just mindless gore.
Tell me you've seen Let the Right One in.
I have, and I loved it, I just think what zombies stand for, are scary, their are no benefits to being a zombie. Basically every other monster [that spreads through biting.] Vampires, girls will faint at your sight, werewolves, again girls. Twilight just ruined it. I don't like my vamps sparkling and my wolves turning in 2 seconds.

I know a lot of people hate Supernatural on these forums but they did vampires really well.
They're getting wiped out by hunters and, even though they've started drinking cattle's blood now, they're still being killed. They treat it like... well, sorta like MPD. When you need blood, your logical thinking goes out of the window and you're an animal.

"Also, when did Zombies come back into fashion, for god's sake!" Resident Evil 5, Call of Duty: Wow, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2,Zombieland, Walking Dead, Marvel Zombies, Blackest Night. You know, stuff that when it came out was cool and was very big for their respective communities. Wasn't Blackest Night DC's big comic event? Yeah. Isn't Walking Dead being made into a television series soon? Yep. Zombies are here to stay. Succumb to the infection, or live off your egg loaf and carbonated yogurt.
I don't like any of those titles.
That is your opinion and while I respect it, I like some of them.

I may just being a bit special seeming as I just came back from the pub (and I didn't read any of the other posts) but I didn't see a 'NO' option and I did read them all a few times. Anyway, if there isn't a 'NO' option, it's just a poll about to what degree playing L4D has prepared you for a zombie apocalypse.

P.S - That bacon riding Frankenstein dream just feels to me like a big pile of unimaginative lies coated in randomness which; for some reason, people see as wit.
Welcome to my dream world. Population: Everything I have ever seen ever for no reason. Is it hard to believe someone has seen A frankenstein movie, bacon, lightning, and a british nanny, I think not. I forgot to put a no option, if you could tell me how to edit it, It would be appreciated.

I'm not disrespecting your opinion. You like games, good for you. I just don't find zombies scary at all. Ruins it for me a bit.

Not the greatest possibilities, perhaps, but still there.

No because doing that much damage to the brain would still kill you.
No, you see, you don't actually kill the braincells.

You just put part of the brain in a cryosleep-state
Somewhat
A virus can't do that.
Not a discovered virus, at any rate. And perhaps it's a parasite? You sound like an arrogant swine who's just determined to say 'no', no matter how many reasons are put in front of you.

Sorry, I can't please everyone. Well, Daybreakers was cool, and a wolfman remake is coming out... Though werewolves are my favorite monster. zombies just are in the now. It probably is the most realistic monster out there. I can't imagine a Swamp-man outbreak.
