I already know how it's going to go down and how to virus is going to go. A scientist is going to create a virus to cure everything. At first it will be said to be the miracle cure. The virus destroys the surrounding tissue around the area it is injected into. It then uses the tissue to replicate. It takes over the dead cells and starts them up again using itself. it then kills the surrounding area and stars over again till the full body is under it's control. For a while it will work perfectly. All the diseases in the world will seem to have disappeared, even the genetic ones. Then the disease will alter. It will crave to cure those uncured. It will do this by getting into the host be any means. Thus it will attack uncured people to replicate itself. But by then most of the people will be "cured" so the population as a whole will already be under it's control. The zombie part is, besides the attacking others part, the disease will be able to repair the body, stop blood flow to bad areas, and stop pain signals to the brain. chop off a limb and it'll still come after you. cutting off the head however stops the signals from the brain causing the body to be unable to act in unison and eventually die. A true zombie, relentlessness, unparalleled. Whenever the "cure" is found, don't take it, or you will surly die.
Math class... perfect for daydreaming.

Tell me you've seen Let the Right One in.
Of course - it's one of my favourite movies. :D
I still need to get around to reading the book though.

I meant romantic in a different sense though. Like in the way the whole concept of vampires is beautiful.
Are you beating around the bush?

Twilight. I said it. I remember watching Underworld 1 before my girlfriend dragged me to Twilight.
Ah right. :D
No I wasn't talking about Twilight at all.
[sub]Though Alice more than made up for the movie's flaws. :p[/sub]

Twilight's vampires were too perfect - like gods or something. I think vampires should have more of an animal side.
Like the way Eli slips around on the snow in LTROI. It shows that she's not perfect - more like a beast than a god.
I know a lot of people hate Supernatural on these forums but they did vampires really well.
They're getting wiped out by hunters and, even though they've started drinking cattle's blood now, they're still being killed. They treat it like... well, sorta like MPD. When you need blood, your logical thinking goes out of the window and you're an animal.
That sounds pretty cool actually. I don't really watch tv that much anymore, but I might give it a look.

I can't decide whether I like Dracula or not. I mean, I know he was like the original vampire or something, but he always comes across as too frail. Though that might just be the version I saw.

No, no it could not. Does it really need to be explained why?
The poll options are quite stupid as well.

Also, when did Zombies come back into fashion, for god's sake! I hate zombie threads!
"Also, when did Zombies come back into fashion, for god's sake!" Resident Evil 5, Call of Duty: Wow, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2,Zombieland, Walking Dead, Marvel Zombies, Blackest Night. You know, stuff that when it came out was cool and was very big for their respective communities. Wasn't Blackest Night DC's big comic event? Yeah. Isn't Walking Dead being made into a television series soon? Yep. Zombies are here to stay. Succumb to the infection, or live off your egg loaf and carbonated yogurt.
I don't like any of those titles.
That is your opinion and while I respect it, I like some of them.
I'm not disrespecting your opinion. You like games, good for you. I just don't find zombies scary at all. Ruins it for me a bit.
Sorry, I can't please everyone. Well, Daybreakers was cool, and a wolfman remake is coming out... Though werewolves are my favorite monster. zombies just are in the now. It probably is the most realistic monster out there. I can't imagine a Swamp-man outbreak.
Radioactive chemicals in the lakes... I could.

No because doing that much damage to the brain would still kill you.
No, you see, you don't actually kill the braincells.

You just put part of the brain in a cryosleep-state

A virus can't do that.
Not a discovered virus, at any rate. And perhaps it's a parasite? You sound like an arrogant swine who's just determined to say 'no', no matter how many reasons are put in front of you.
That's why I put a It could, but probably not. At least acknowledge it could happen.

He had a bold presence but... yeah, I see where you're coming from.

Come to think of it... Vampires and Werewolves in Supernatural are quite alike. Except Werewolves rip out your heart and eat it. The only big difference is that Werewolves don't know they're doing it because they turn at night, when there's a full moon, and just stroll home and get back in bed when they're done.

I have to ask, how do you know alot about zombies?

It's like saying, "I know alot about minotaurs" Theres nothing to know. It doesn't exists so how do you know anything about it, other than it all in the imagination.

If I am right in saying, before 28 days later all zombies were incredibly slow, undead things that could only kill by sneaking up on you and only did so for food (which they always wanted). After 28 days later they could sprint a marathon, were angry as hell and wanted to kill you for funzies or food.

No, I'm someone studying to be a zoologist or a biologist and has a great fascination with viruses and parasites and at one point obsessed over zombies. You people want to twist things in ways that can not work to make your zombie fantasies plausible.

Well i heard on the news that HAITI is having some unrest and they control the worlds supply of ZOMBIS (their spelling not mine) so its only a matter of time especially if some of the zombi labors got loose during the earthquake.(view video below)
