Quite.

But anyway, I don't understand why people love Kingdom Hearts so much. Just not my kind of game.

I don't hate any game unless it slept with my girlfriend or stole my lunchmoney in highschool.

There aren't any popular games that I particularly hate, but I don't really like Oblivion that much because I find it boring. What I don't like is getting attacked by my friends for not thinking Oblivion is the best Western RPG ever made. Then they also tell me that Dragon Age: Origins (which I think is one of the better Western RPGs in existence) sucks. So, yeah, it's not the game that I hate, it's when my friends tell me that a game I don't particularly like is the best game ever made. Also when they tell me that one of my favorite games sucks. So we have different tastes in games. BIG DEAL! There's no reason to attack people for not liking the same things you do!

Gears of War: It's too dreary, generic, and in many cases dumb. There is a difference between UV light and manufactured light, Cole Train is almost as offensive as Skid and Mudflap, the characters are ridiculously proportioned, some of the "military" strategy in the story is ridiculous, and the whole thing just seems like if someone took a Michael Bay movie and wiped their ass with the film.

Final Fantasy 7 & 8: I hate Seven for what it did to the whole series, genre, and media as a whole, I hate Eight because it's a massive piece of crap with barely any redeeming factors (the only one I can think of is The Spoony One's review of it).

Call of Duty 6: I hate it for a combination of why I hate Fantasy 7 & Gears, and I also hate it for people thinking it's the second coming of Super Mario Brothers.

I don't hate Halo, because there seems to have been genuine effort put into the game being accessible, fun, and challenging, and while Halo 3's story mode is not exactly stellar, it at least has a good sense of progression, scope, and entertainment value.

Every rhythm game ... ever!

Halo 2,I quite liked the first (I never had an xbox so I never played it much) and haven't played the third or any other incarnation (can't hate what you haven't played).

GoW, just annoyed me.

AC, way to repetitive.

ffx-2, what were the devs thinking? Lets take a good game, take out all the good bits, replace with awful bits and sell it.

Anything with regenerating health. The modern mix of RPG and FPS. Games where graphics and realism takes precedence over fun and storyline.

This topic seems to pop up a lot..

Mine would be fallout 3 for some reason I just cant enjoy it. I have played through it at least a dozen times and I have played all the expansions at least once. I just cant enjoy it.

Hate is a strong word. I dislike these titles, but genuine hate doesn't pop up in my head very often.

The entire Halo series and Modern Warfare 2.

Sounds like you hate everything popular, except Mario Brothers. :U Honestly I love FFVII, but not because of the fanbase, I'm embarrassed to admit when it's a favorite of mine (it got me more into RPGs since it was my 2nd of it's kind. But these super fans "OMG SEPHIs MAH BISHI and he loves Cloud here's a picture I drew of them kissing" makes me want to microwave my game to keep away from being related in anyway to them. So I do think I see where you're coming from.

OT: Killzone and Killzone 2, I swear the guy in killzone 2 must have been made of a wet noodle the way he moved/aimed/threw grenades, it made aiming obnoxious. I desperately tried to play 2 to the end but I got too mad to continue. I don't see what makes people like it, it's a World War 2 shooter that takes place in space, which could have been amazing, I mean space Nazis means space Hitler.

Race games and JRPGs in general. I don't JRPG's because i can't stand manga and Race games because they are just boring. And Frustrating.

Every time one of these threads comes up, I say the same thing.

DEAD SPACE.

Possibly the lamest horror game ever. How it got so popular I'll never know.

Hate is a strong word, so I'll catagorize mine.
Hate:
Fallout 3 (the aiming mehenism outside of VATS was terrible, no color, ect.)
Call of Duty 4: MW (lack of color, little replay value, plenty of timed missions)

Dislike:
Portal (overrated, on the short side, not too much replay value)
GoW (lack of color, but i didn't even beat the first mission)
