Bioshock. I just got into the hospital and the doors all got permanently locked for some screwed up reason. Then it autosaved. I hate Bioshock for that.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Hypocrite.
I saw that coming, should have explained it. A few weeks ago MW2 might have been one of the ones i thought were too popular. The difference between MW2 and other shooters " like bioshock" is its ability to have fun with it. Remember when Halo came out? Me and my friends could spend for ever playing with just us on a system link play. The other day, me and 4 other friends played a 4 hour long match on rust. just 5 of us over live, goofing off killing each other. If a game can make you do that, it's good in my book. Bioshock is just a weak story and a generic shooter in my book, and as a shooter, it can't do what Halo or MW2 can.

Gears of War for the simple fact that my friend got absoulutly off-his-rocker butt-fucking obsessed with it the week his X-Box was broken so he mooched mine and pretty much forced me to spend an entire school break playing Gears 24/7 as soon as I woke up he'd be at my door he never wanted to play anything else, after we beat the campaign he still kept coming over to play multiplayer the brown and red color scheme got incredibly boring and while the game seems OK to begin with the combat gets so repetitive.

Thats my friends prblem hes shallower than a kiddy pool when it comes to video games if its not an M rated game or its not on X-Box or both he doesn't want it and refuses to play it.

I can see where you're coming from, but in my opinion MW2 had an equally weak story, and like BioShock, added absolutely nothing to the gaming industry. I believe both to be popular, overly generic shooters. It doesn't make either of them bad games, but at the same time it doesn't make them stellar games.

I really want to get across how much I HATE Gears of War. Everything about it is putrid and stock. The story is probably the worst part. Who are these muscular, neckless people? What are the Locusts, and what are they trying to accomplish besides world domination (Of Course!)? And what the hell is with that floating door-opening robot that seems to be able to teleport?
Sounds like Michael Bay directed the game.

All of the Final Fantasy games (though my boyfriend constantly tells me 'I just haven't found the right one for me'), the Halo series, the Call of Duty games, and Gears of War 1 & 2.

I'm not really one for shooting games in general. I'm not a violent person (though some people may say the opposite of this). They get people really riled up ("YESIPWNJOON00B!" "BOOM HEADSHOT!" etcetera) when there really isn't any reason for such an attitude in the first place. Sure, I've got a bit of a thing for Resident Evil- I've had it since I was little. But that's because it scares me for some odd reason, and I have yet to figure it out. That and the characters are pretty funny.

Gears of War especially. I mean, really... a chainsaw gun? ._.

I honestly prefer adventure and sandbox games.

I can't say I hate everything about any games but I DO hate large parts of certain games.

Bioshock. Same repetitive enemies. Splicer, Splicer, Splicer, Splicer with a gun Splicer, Big Daddy. Repeat. Also the identical environments got on my nerves.

CoD 4 and 6. While I love most parts of these games, the enemies are even more repetitious than Bioshock and the guns are all pretty much the same AR, SMG, LMG, Sniper with slightly different stats.

Halo is kind of like Twilgiht to me, its for a young audience, so that when the audience gets it it has a little few good things but its really easy to learn so you automatically look over all its unoriginal and generic faults and constantly jerk it off so much they make a whole fucking franchise out of it and ruining a community of greatness(Halo ruined Xbox Live, Twilight ruined Vampires).

In the end people with fucking intellegence know how shit these products are and laugh at the braindead morons who keep on handing over their lunch money to continue to jerk off their prefered franchise. And just to add insult to injury they shove that fucking sun in your eyes so much in Halo 3 that Master Cheif fucking sparkles, i find it humorous.

Cod games also, but i just dont like war games.

Gow...guh

There aren't any popular games that I particularly hate, but I don't really like Oblivion that much because I find it boring. What I don't like is getting attacked by my friends for not thinking Oblivion is the best Western RPG ever made. Then they also tell me that Dragon Age: Origins (which I think is one of the better Western RPGs in existence) sucks. So, yeah, it's not the game that I hate, it's when my friends tell me that a game I don't particularly like is the best game ever made. Also when they tell me that one of my favorite games sucks. So we have different tastes in games. BIG DEAL! There's no reason to attack people for not liking the same things you do!
What this guy said. Why bash other peoples taste in games? I find all the "hatred" pretty sad. Always comes down to this If you don't like it don't play it, if you hate a game so much you really need to re-evaluate your priorties because there are much more deserving things to direct anger at :/

This topic seems to pop up a lot..

Mine would be fallout 3 for some reason I just cant enjoy it. I have played through it at least a dozen times and I have played all the expansions at least once. I just cant enjoy it.
Why did you play it that much if you didn't enjoy it? Are you insane?

Or do you mean you just can't enjoy it now? In which case, is there any wonder you don't like it any more if you've played it to death?

Halo...

It isn't a bad game (I do play it) I just don't like what it does to some people.

Everything in moderation!

Even Halo!

Ocarina of Time. Twilight Princess. Prince Of Persia (The new one). These games are all boring.
Sacrilege! Burn him!

Actually, the new PoP does enthusiastically fellate. I can see how you'd find any of the Zeldas boring if you didn't play past the initial part.
