This. Nobody forces the actors, and actresses, and nobody is forced to watch it (exept for agressive evony ads, but those are just spam). If someone is lonely enough, or entertained by that kind of media, let them (I myself prefer the real thing, but I really don't mind people watching or making porn, as long as they do it private anyway.Hubilub said:
People like porn. There's a market for it. Even in a porn shop, if you put certain kinds of porn on the shelf, you are going to get funny looks. Also, people are hesitant to be that forthright about their weirder fetishes. The internet is anonymous. Meaning that there is a profit to be made from providing a desired product to the people who have weird fetishes. And as a general rule, it's harmless. No problem here, I use a add-on that disables a huge list of scripts. Mostly just pop-ups and analytical processes.

Given that all of us have kinks of different degrees and different tastes we can not honestly take the 'moral high ground' and forsake people who have different kinks. If your not interested in, say, furry porn then DON'T GO THERE. Don't try and discriminate and censor someone's freedom to jerk it because you don't like what they are jerking off too. That is a dark path which will lead to dangerous ground.
Have we not learned our lesson from history, when anything but the missionary position with your wife would get you sent straight to hell via burning at the stake if the church found out?! Cause frankly if we don't give people freedom to enjoy their porn then some arse hole with a stick up his arse, likely from the same kiddy-fiddling church, will gladly take your own freedom to enjoy porn away. Countries with stricter pornography laws also have far more sexual violent crime. (I don't mean the sort that's only a crime because they made it illegal - things like rape, etc are far more prevalent).
No matter what you might think, humans have urges and we're designed to respond to them. Why do you think so many Catholic clergymen end up abusing the position of trust they hold? That vow of celebacy isn't bringing them closer to god, it's pushing them further away from nature.

As a woman, I'd like to say ... bullshit. Are there some women who probably find themselves down on their luck and just want to make a quick buck? Sure. Everything is possible. No, porn isn't right, but it's generally not "wrong" either. Like alot in this world, it's a grey area. I mean, the far deviant stuff (rape porn, child porn) can probably be called wrong due to the process of making it but it doesn't represent the entirety of the industry.
