I love Linkin Park's music and I like Nickelback's to an extent

I like CoD's single-player and multi-player AS WELL AS Battlefield's (generally it seems you can only like one or the other)

I like the Transformers movies quite a lot

I like using the Kinect whenever possible, and can't wait for the integration with big name titles

I like the idea of downloadable games (Games on Demand, Steam) providing that we don't need to connected to the internet all the time

Oh, right. I also think school is awesome. Not just, like, being with your friends and all that. I like the whole "learning shit" part, too.

The Revival Series of Doctor Who is better than the Classic series. Not that the Classic series sucked, but the Revival is just damn, damn good. And Matt Smith is my favorite Doctor because I love his personality.

Also, I find everything and anything mindlessly fascinating. I can listen to someone talk on Canadian history for 3 hours and not be bored. It's all so damn interesting.

I still enjoy WOW after 4 years and I don't even raid or pvp.

I don't think immigration is destroying the UK.

I think too human had an amazing story...just bad gameplay...that cannot be denied
At first I thought you had written that humanity had a great story, just bad gameplay. Which struck me as incredibly profound.

I think Linkin Park's latest album is the best they've ever produced.

As a black guy(unfortunately, this qualification is necessary to emphasize the point), my musical preferences run more on classic rock, power metal, symphonic goth(Nightwish, Within Temptation, etc.), various forms of trance, chill-out, trip-hop, down-tempo, some alternative rock, modern rock, some J-pop and J-rock, classical(particularly J. S. Bach), some new age, classic R&B, some blues, and light jazz(this entire combination is uncommon, from my observation, for a black person in America). Notice neither rap nor hip-hop are on my list.

Oh, forgot to add, I vey much liked Final Fantasy 13(vocal Internet). I found the story to have a profound theme of Free-will vs. Predetermined Destiny.

I thought the Green Lantern movie was actually pretty good despite what Movie Bob said.

I guess the obvious one to write about would be my enjoyment of the Call of Duty franchise, all the games. I am always glad when a new one gets released every year, because they are all good games.

I also much prefer the use of a controller over a mouse and keyboard. Much easier to use. I don't care if a mouse is more accurate, I still have fun playing games and that is all that matters.

I see a lot of hate for Football on this site as well, which I can't understand because I love football! When the season comes around I can't go a week without watching or playing any football.

I liked Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, sure it wasn't really that scary, but the profiling system and plot was very well executed. I would love to see a sequel to it where they use that profiling system to really make the game even scarier.

I find Wind Waker to be a charming, innovative and fun game, never tedious even during the Triforce hunt, which I found easy and a fun way to get the player to explore.

I had fun playing WET, and don't think it's a bad game.
Except for the QTE's, but sliding along the floor firing two guns with a cool soundtrack is pretty good.

please don't kill me
Actually, I thought WET wasn't that bad.

As for the OT, I've kind of enjoyed Haze for the PS3 (various game reviews on the internet said it was pretty flawed).

Carth was one of my favourite characters in KotoR. I liked his reaction to his situation (being dragged around on a "save the galaxy" quest without anyone really telling him what the hell is going on), plus his "If you can't even trust the best of the jedi, who can you trust?" quote. His voice actor is also awesome. (internet)

I like spinach, cabbage, as well as peanut butter & ham sandwiches. (everyone)

Outcasts, by the BBC, was one of the best shows I've ever seen (everywhere)
I really liked Outcasts too, It was a shame it didn't get renewed.

I love Legend of the Seeker, So freakin' cheesy.

I like eating Heinz canned pork and beans despite how gross they are.

KFC chips are the better than McDonald's chips.

I like Windows 7, It's easy to use though I use Opera for my browser.

You know how people create threads about opinions you hold that aren't common, and 80% of them turn out to be negative for some reason? Well, fuck that shit. It's time for optimism!

This is a thread about things you like that many people don't. Don't feel ashamed - if you like, for example, Kane & Lynch 2, this is the place to post that information.

Also, you should specify if what you're posting is unpopular in real life, or the internet. Both are acceptable. And please, try to avoid negative opinions disguised as positive opinions (e.g "I think *unpopular game* is better than *popular game* - just saying you like *unpopular game* will do). And most importantly, no bashing of other people.

So, I'll start:

I like Coldplay (IRL + Internet)

I think Avatar is an excellent movie (internet)

I love Halo's story (internet)

I like the Harry Potter books AND films (internet)

EDIT: Also, Lady Gaga's Bad Romance isn't a bad song (internet).

So, that's me out of the way. How about you? What do you like, that other people don't?
all of those i highly agree with, i didn't know coldplay wasn't liked but i REALLY like them, a good 5-6 of their songs are in my top 50 songs i listen to (according to itunes)

OT: I love alpha protocol to death, i think it is an amazing game a pretty good storyline and awesome characters (internet)

to go along with that, i like cover based gameplay, sure not every game should have it, agreed on that completely, but i love the games that do (vanquish,GoW,mass effect) (internet mostly)

I don't mind popular music in general, sure it doesn't have the best lyrics to it or maybe not even the best singer(s), but a decent amount of it is catchy enough to play in a club or something. (internet mostly)

maybe will edit in a few more eventually...

edit:

the new transformers movie, i didn't love but didn't mind, but i actually liked the way they transformed, i used to watch the cartoons all the time and they would just magically blob into some kind of car and then blob back into some kind of human cardboard box wearing thing, which was fine and cool, but i thought the CGI on it was awesome.

nickelback isn't half bad, sure some of their stuff can sound very similar to some other stuff they do but they do have at least an albums worth of good music i'd say

I like linkin park quite a bit, even still after all these years, and think their new cd wasn't half bad, sure not the same but not half bad really.
