I'll be direct here, have you even played the game? If so, then that's your take on the matter, and I respectfully disagree.GreatTeacherCAW said:Good reviews - check. Zelda game - check. Shitty, shitty Wii controls - check. Playing the same game you played before - check.
I don't see how this could be a 10. Or even an 8. Everyone yells about shooters like CoD recycling, but Christ - this is yet another Legend of Zelda game that I have played before. The controls are bloody awful. It is a good game, mind you, but it deserves nothing higher than a 7.
If not, then please refrain from bashing the game without knowing or having experienced anything on the subject matter.
For I have played the game. In my opinion:
The controls are, for a lack of a better term, amazing. They're not perfect yet, but pretty darn close. Combat is fluid and unique, making every battle fun and memorable. The formula behind the game's design has also been reworked. So it's not 'another Zelda'. It's something new, an innovation in the series. It's not the biggest departure mind you, the game hasn't turned into another genre, but the basic formula has been changed up to a point that it feels new and you never know what to expect even if you've played all other Zelda's before.
But if you have played the game, I wonder. What do you dislike about the controls? Or your reasoning why it's not that great a game? I'm curious, because I don't see it and I am far from a fanboy.
