I virtually alway do it. Nope, I've really got nothing to do.
Plus, it's useful to know what you can be banned for.

A ban with no post associated with it is usually a Staff-applied ban for reasons outside of posting on the forums. The Tech Team tends to use it when we discover people banjumping, attempting thread/post flood attacks on the site, and other various things that don't make sense for us to track down a post to tie it to.MercurySteam said:It probably means that the thread they got banned in was locked and deleted. It happens often.Spade Lead said:Yeah, I do this a lot. I hate it that yesterday I saw someone banned and there was no link to the post that showed why...Palademon said:I do, because it's often hilarious.
Did you appeal it?ghii3 said:Yes, cause I god damn hate the mods on this site, this arrogant dipshits
GO AHEAD AND BAN ME
I say this because there have been several cases where I have seen people making generally hilarious, not trolling, appropriate comments and getting the stick for it. Along with people making genuine points and getting the stick.
My own personal case is when I posted what seemed like a decent, structured, none flamy post and got suspended for it. Their reason was "It was entirely negative".
WELL SORRY MOTHER, I FORGOT EVERYBODY HERE IS FIVE YEARS OLD, I'LL GO STAND IN THE CORNER
Well I'll see y'all in a few weeks, this is my last chance to do something bad before a ban, might as well hate the mods.
My Ex got put on probation just because he used an image which had three words on. He then put "This:" above the image. Because the image already stated what he wanted to "say", he didnt think it was necessary to probate him for it. The Mods didnt care, they didnt like the "one word answer", and it was his first offence also. If I remember, he did eventually win his case and it was taken off, but he realised that they were watching him after, so the next little thing he did, he was put back on probation for. So he got cocky and bad tempered, messaged the mod, and got banned for messaging them.warprincenataku said:I say protest the decision if you don't agree with it. I got a warning for something stupid, writing a one-word answer to a post. I am serious thinking about writing anonymous about this.DemonicVixen said:Lol, sometimes, just to see what the mods consider banning/probation for.
Sometimes I disagree with the decision but sadly, nothing you can do.
Ahaha!
