Sarah walked with Sparrow back to his motorcycle, she sat him down and looked at him.

"Is is that easy for you to just take someones life away Sparrow? Even if he is a monster... if you kill him then you'll be no better he is. You'll be a..." Sarah put her hand on Sparrow's cheek. "Just think twice before you kill someone."

Sarah turned and looked around.

"Where do we go from here?"

 

[Sparrow]

"I know your concerned about me Sarah, but I have to be ruthless. I don't want to be better than these people. I've done alot worse."

Sparrow put an arm around Sarah as he stumbled.

"Besides. I'm not doing this for me."

Patrick had dealt with all the observers for now, but there was no telling what could happen. Jack might have been able to contact someone before he was captured, and that would mean military, if Sam and Sparrow hadn't gone nuts over the last few years.

"Whatever we do guys, we have to l-leave here. Now. If you want, I can rewrite this guy's memories, make him forget that we were here. He'll believe that Emily is out on a buisness trip... that'll give us time to go somewhere and talk about this. Here is not the place to be doing this." Pat said, trying to get everyone to focus.

[Don't worry. It was mainly my fault for poor communication with Samuel. I didn't make myself too clear.

I really don't want to ruin anything for anyone either. I'm trying to make this storyline decent. Alot of RP's on the forum always go off the point, but I want to develop something fairly bitchin'.

It's also faltered a little bit because of something I've been setting up for a while to do with the RP. Anyone reading the spoilered tags inside spoilered tags will most likely know what I've been planning.

If anyone wants to do something with the story, such as a side story for your character, just PM me. I'll fit it in easily]

[I think it would be nice if you didn't kill Jack. Its bad enough for Emily that he only married her for surveillance, you don't need to kill the man she loves. Don't forget she married him because she loved him. At this point, you have already fucked her life up enough.]

Time to get this on track! Or at least try.

Iceous' finger twitched. His hand clenched. His eyelids fluttered, then opened. He pushed himself off of his back and looked around. "What the hell was that thing?" He looked at Samuel. "You..... you didn't do that, did you?"

Samuel shook his head, apparently too shaken up to form words.

He stood up, his feet wobbly underneath him. His head pounding from the impact with the floor. "Whatever that thing was, I don't think it likes me. Christ, that hurts!" Iceous rubbed his temples in a desperate attempt to alleviate the pressure in his skull. Everyone seemed to be filing outside, so he made his way towards the bikes.

A quick check of people made him puzzled. "There's 6 people here, and only 2 bikes. Are we going to have to triple-up?"

I agree with Chris. Let's just get moving on and sort of forget this bit ever happened. For the sake of plot purposes, let's just say something like I gave Jack a quick mindwipe so that he's forgotten the last five years, or knock him out, or something, and we all leave to go talk about what's going on.

Patrick heard Iceous ask about how they were going to leave. "No worries, snowball. I've got that c-covered." he said jokingly. He pointed over his shoulder to his police cruiser.

Pat looked towards Emily, who had dropped to her knees and was shaking. He knelt down next to her, trying to get her attention. "Hey Emily? C'mon, snap out of it. Y-You're stronger than this, we both know that. Stand up, ok?" he said softly, slowly managing to coax her to her feet. However, she wouldn't stop shaking and didn't respond to him, keeping her mouth shut and staring blankly forward, her eyes devoid of life. Patrick was sick with worry about her, but he kept it from showing on his face. He needed her to snap out of it, and acting all panicked wasn't going to help anyone.

He looked towards Iceous. The man would need a ride, and a bike would likely be uncomfortable for anyone forced to ride with him. "You can ride with me and Emily, Iceous: I'll unlock the back for you."

He glared at Sam and Sparrow. "Obviously, we h-have a lot to talk about." he said darkly. "We'll meet up tommorow. You've caused enough d-damage for today, ok?"

Before either of them could respond, he smashed a window in another house with his power, causing the burglar alarm to sound. That would get the police here: they'd take care of Jack.

Iceous walked past Patrick, mumbling under his breath, "Who's he calling Snowball? I can't even make a snowflake anymore." He opened the door to the back and got in. After a quick click from the seat belt, he said, "Yay! I'm a criminal! Off to jail with me!"

He heard a couple of forced chuckles from the group. Iceous scowled and pulled the door shut. "All I'm trying to do is lighten everything up. At least they have their powers. I'm just a bitter person with-" He cut short when Patrick and Emily opened their doors. Last thing he wanted was berating from anyone about being petty.

"Take me away, copper."

Patrick helped Emily into the passenger's seat carefully. She still didn't say anything, but she could at least move, and that was something to be thankful for. Pat quickly got into the driver's seat and buckled up. It was time to get away from this place, unless they all wanted to answer some awkward questions. Patrick looked in the mirror as he started the car, and was shocked to see that Iceous' hair had changed color.

"S-Some reason for d-dying your hair, man?" said Patrick curiously, as he pulled out into the street. "Actually, never mind that: do you have a place to stay? Otherwise, w-we'll need to find a hotel or something..."

Keep in mind Portal that I have no idea what happened between you, Sarah, and the Wonder Twins. I don't know anything about you or what's happened in recent years.

Emily had said nothing, nothing could possible be said. No thoughts going through her head, no emotions, no tears, no sobs for her husband. Nothing. She heard conversations around her, Patrick trying to coax her into moving, into talking, into reacting. She felt herself being placed into a car, but took no notice of where she was going, who she was with. She was lost, no-one to love, no-one she wanted to love.

Her life had slowly began to crumble, from the day she entered the labs, it began to fall apart. She escaped and started a life, lived happily, but then came meeting the other Prototypes and experiencing all of the pain and suffering that went along with the encounter. She finally got her life on track again, a husband, a restaurant, a truly happy life, but the others came again. Her life had finally shattered into a million pieces, all thanks to the others, she was now truly broken.

Iceous didn't answer Patrick's questions right away. He shook his head to clear his mind, then said, "Sorry Pat, I live in LA. We'll need a hotel. And as for the hair..... that's for later, OK?"

Patrick nodded and slowly backed the car onto the street and drove off. Sleep will be nice after 2 whole days...

Sparrow grabbed his bike, and leaned foward.

"Sarah. Go with Scott."

Sarah went to speak, but Sparrow put up his hand.

"Go."

Samuel came toward him, and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I'm fine. I can drive. We'll follow behind them."
