[Doc Theta Sigma]

Doc shifted back into his human form and looked into the back of the ambulance where the girl was still staring at him. He looked back to where he was driving.

"That's what they'll try to do to you. Kill you. Torture you. You see these?" Doc said indicating the burned side of his face and prosthetic hand. "They did this to me. It'll be no different for you"

 

[Sparrow]

"I'm fine. I'm always fine."

Samuel looked at Sparrow, as he continued checking Sarah's body for injuries.

"Your gonna' be fine Sarah."

Sarah smiled weakly at Sparrow. "Thank you, for everything Sparrow."

Sarah walked away from Sparrow and towards the woman. She ignored the pain and spoke bluntly to the scientist. "You. Tell us everything that happened here or else I'll burn you until your nothing but a charred corpse."

"See, Sparrow. That's what you get!" Samuel said with risen voice. Sparrow seemed taken aback.

"When you get attached to people, you get irrational. You get sloppy! You've let Doc get away with a Mass Destructive weapon, and gave him the meant to continue his plan he started five years ago

Samuel closed his eyes and pushed his temper down.

"Sorry. I didn't want to say that."

 

[Sparrow]

"No, no. Your right."

Sparrow sighed.

"I know what I should have done, but I just couldn't."

Sparrow stopped checking Sarah for injuries, and brushed her hair out of her face. He smiled.

"Sorry, Samuel. It won't happen again."

 

[SamuelT]

"Well. Sarah's safe. That is also important." Samuel said.

He frowned.

"Sparrow, are you feeling any different?"

 

[Dorian]

"You're right. It won't."

Iceous brushed some ash off of his sleeve.

"You already had less than a week left. Now, after that diamond stunt, we have no idea."

Sarah was taken aback by what Samuel said, but some part of her knew that he was right. She looked at Sparrow and he brushed the hair away from her face. She smiled again weakly.

She knew that their feelings could no longer get in the way, because if they did then the worst could happen.

"I'm also sorry Samuel. It will never happen again."

Sarah looked at Sparrow. "You shouldn't have transformed.." She said in a worried voice.

 

[Sparrow]

"No, just a little tire.."

Sparrow paused, awkwardly.

"Tir--...", he stuttered.

"I ca..."

Sparrow grabbed his mouth, hoping to make some form of sound. He panicked, trying to speak, and failing to have any result.

"Sarah, don't worry. His strings are solid again."

Samuel tilted his head, confused.

"Sparrow? You can't what?"

Sarah continued to look at Sparrow. He looked scared. "Sparrow?" He grabbed his mouth, he was trying to speak, but nothing was coming out.

Sarah looked back to Samuel. "Why can't he talk?"

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow couldn't say a word, or make any sound. He started to panic, and shake. He looked toward Samuel for help, hoping he had some for of answer.

He tried to shift his body to combat the problem, but nothing happened. His powers weren't working, and he couldn't stop shaking.

Don't worry kid. You'll be fine., bellowed strange voice in Sparrow's head. He was hallucinating, hearing voices.

Think I'm not here? Don't blame you. Your being pretty freaky and all right now. Well, atleast you ain't dying no more, kid!

Sarah turned back to Sparrow, he seemed to be panicking. Sarah put her hand on his cheek to try and calm him down.

"Sparrow? Are you ok? Whats wrong?"

 

[SamuelT]

"Well. The good news, He's not going to die. Bad news, he's gone mute. That's my guess, at least." Samuel said to Sarah.

Sparrow's gaze was turned inward, like he was thinking.

"Sparrow?" Samuel said clearly while crouching next to him "Can you hear me?"

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow nodded. He looked at Samuel, hoping to be able to respond, but he could not.

He's always looking after you, isn't he? What do you think he gets from it?

Sarah touched Sparrow's face.
