My brother got in a fight after a kid slapped him for being bumped into.
My brother broke the kid's nose against a locker, and then proceeded to choke him out until pulled off by a teacher.
While he fought back, the other kid didn't get in any trouble, while my brother got a suspension.
That actually sounds perfectly reasonable.

Tell me about it. I was actually offered medication but no help to make them stop. (there were other things than bullies tormenting me, mind you, but still.)

Hmm, let's see.

Oh yeah, some regular jerk/bully kept spouting comments at me, so I pushed him. He get's mad and push me into a wall, and now his friends genuinely accuse me of hitting someone smaller than me. Smaller? He was only 3 months younger than me, granted it was enough to be put one class below me, but he was at least a head taller than me. What the hell?!

Worst part, I later sarcastically exclaimed "oh, I'm sorry!" and was just replied with "damn straight". Why am I the only one who know sarcasm?

EDIT: actually that counts as retaliation, so I guess it doesn't count. I'll do my best to remember an actual random accusation moment to remedy this.

I agree with you, plus it isn't exactly what the thread asks for. though he was a victim (kind of) he was punished for retaliation.

i once got beaten up by several boys whom were older then me. I accidently scratched one under his eye during the scuffle and yet i got blamed for it. The teacher said regardless of what he did i should not have scratched him. I tried to say it was accidental (though i can not say i am not pleased to have done it) but did she care? No.

My friend, ane valuable life lesson to learn is that only inhabitants of the Escapist forums understand the concept of sarcasm.

Yes it is a baby rabbit with its head burrowed. My pet bunny Autumn does the same so i chose this image since i do not have one of her. Also it is meant to represent my boyfriend (almightwabbit lol) since he likes rabbits also (kind of obvious that part *laugh*)

I wasn't a direct victim, but a bunch of guys wrote my name on a wall in capital letters in school, and the teachers blamed me. Really? You think I'd write my own name on the wall? I'm much smarter than that.

Wow, forgot how frightening school used to be...

Not violence, but this reminds me of something I actually came on here for advice for - the threads are here http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.83146?page=1and here http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.83929#1182873 (Update) if you are bored enough to want the full version...

My ex of 4yrs who I stayed friends with still came round occasionally (totally on his own, I never invited, he just turned up). After two years of being split he started making little comments about how good I looked, long hugs, etc.
My sister went on FaceBook and found that he had a new girlfriend.
Who he'd been seeing for at least a year. Who he'd moved in with. AND DIDN'T MENTION ONCE.

I asked a few leading questions like whether he used FaceBook, which he denied, and when I asked who this girl was, his MSN connection dropped. Twice. Now, I'm not jealous in the slightest, as we'd been split for two years and quite frankly I'd have tried again if I did want to, but we'd grown apart when we were together and there just wasn't anything there anymore in my mind.

I found out that he'd blocked me on FB. Before he did that I noticed that I had a friend who knew this girl - I sent a quick message to her asking if she knew what the situation was, as I was worried he hadn't mentioned someone he'd moved in with even though we'd continued speaking for two years, especially considering some of the things he'd started saying to me.

Guess who went and forwarded the entire thing, without my permission, including every single one of my contact details...

Cue abusive phonecall that afternoon from said ex, saying I'd ruined his life and lost him his girlfriend, house and dog. That was the last time I ever spoke to him cause I hung up on the sod.

The best part is that I obviously sent an upset message to the so called "friend" asking why she sent the entire message without my permission - she replied that if she had information that would stop her son being killed she wouldn't hesitate to use it (?) and that incidentally the new girlfriend had told her quite a few nasty things about my history that very, very few people know (you can probably guess who'd started that off).

Does it count if it makes you want to commit violence? Or does this just count as one of those things you use to get a jury on your side?

I got in trouble for telling the truth in school once.

A friend of mine said something about me, that honestly, was probably true, and made all my friends laugh at me.

I didn't like that, so I handed back something that HE had done that was a million times worse.

He runs off crying, and the teacher brings me in and makes me apologize for making up lies, or else I'd get suspended.

So, I caved, apologized for lying (lol), and went my merry way.

What he did? Once when we were about 7, he stood up on my kitchen table, pulled his pants down and stuck his willy in a hot dog bun, much to the WTF of everyone in the room.

Ahhh... Don't you just love the education system nowadays?

if you mean the fucked up one? yeah, don't you just adore how teachers are dumbasses the students see smart as weird and pick on it accordingly and what you learn is shit all of use half the time? oh and everyone gets told they're special *eye tick, judder judder*

plus how the subjects require no understanding just a short tem memory? and how athletes get better treatment cause they get more respect from both the students and sometimes the teachers?

yeah, the state education system is grand isn't it?
I'm glad that my school system ain't like that. Everyone is treated equally (mostly, there are some left out, but mostly it's for good reasons), and there are no better groups. And even if there were, I'd rather be in the nerd squad than the group that constantly have parties and drink at night and then comes to school and fails at an exam. Those guys are idiots.

... Although the teachers can be stupid sometimes.

My GCSE ICT teacher hated me. One of my friends was talking to me during a lesson quite loudly. I whispered to him to shut up so I could concentrate and the teacher yelled at me for it. Even though he'd been listening to my friend talking all the way through the lesson. He was pretty surprised when I got an A for his subject though, especially considering he was responsible for marking the coursework and I kept getting Cs and Ds for the subject thanks to him. I managed to piss him right off with the exam though, recouped everything and really spited him :D

Revenge really is sweet, isn't it?

Yeah, I had a crappy time in school too, and my Craft n Tech teacher took a dislike to me saying because I'd not done enough homework he'd taken me out of the final exam, guaranteeing me the lowest fail grade.

I return the day after the exam and I'm sent to the headmaster for not showing up to the exam, which I HAD been put forward for.

Bah anyways, school was bloody horrible from high school onwards, and I hate the anti intellectualism of school and people in general, that if you actively want to learn, you're a geek and a nerd and a freak.

However I was strangely pleased when I had the same threat in my math class, only to be told she'd been told that she couldn't remove me as I'd scored 97% in my last test and was her 2nd best student, despite being her worst in her opinion.

I just had a weird affinity for math, and saw that all math is just variations of the main four plus minus divide multiply, and couldn't see, and no-one could explain to me why I should repeatedly do the same thing every week, over and over again, when... I HAD GOT IT!

Of course, I hadn't the maturity to realise that you do it because you're told to, and you obey if you want to succeed in life. Talent doesn't seem to count for anything unless combined with conformity.

On top of all that, our english teacher would come to me and a couple of other students for spelling, and because I was nice, I'd quietly signal to her when she'd spelled things incorrectly instead of showing her up in front of the class, because she wasn't a grade A arsehole like some of my teachers. I also think, as most teaching comes from books, spelling isn't as important as being able to teach well, have a link to children, and to be able to be inspire enthusiasm about my subject.

If I could go back, I'd certainly put in the hours, behave and do my work to the best of my ability however, not so much for the grades, but for my own self esteem.

At my gradeschool, I was constantly made fun of, and always in trouble. The thing that sucks here, is that they had figured out that there was a gravity well in the detention room.(It warped time, I SWEAR TO... uh... CTHULU) I spent half of my gradeschool in this time elongating room, making penance for the acts of others.
