I can't believe Batman is winning this! Batman isn't a super hero! He's just some rich person who has nothing better to do. Anyone could be Batman!

Don't know if he counts but The Spirit (the Original by Will Eisner). He's not really a superhero, but a vigilante.

The Spirit is funny, poignant and always optimistic despite the problems he faces.

I wonder how Daredevil made the list, yet Iron Man didn't. I have a feeling that, had he been on the list, he'd be in second-place right now.

Anyway, I'll say Spider-man. He was my first superhero.

Deadpool because he's just a strange antihero (even a little sadistic). Also, he's hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!

A poll like this should be impossible to create. How many superheroes are out there? Hundreds!

Think they need to compress the superhero universe in some and then create a poll: What's your favorite Justice League superhero? Who's your favorite X-man? What do you prefer Marvel or DC? etc. etc.

Batman is a superhero who doesn't have superpowers. He isn't the only one like this, but he's all dark and scary. Also he isn't blind, so that's a plus. He still kicks ass without being able to fly and shoot laz0rbeams from his face.

Gambit. I came into X-Men during the early nineties, and he was the character I clicked with the most for that current roster.

2nd and 3rd place are Deadpool (especially paired with Cable) and Emma Frost.

Miracleman. Though originally called Marvelman and a clear rip-off of the Captain Marvel character, Miracleman got some of the most amazing superhero stories I've ever read. The original stories are the campy superhero stuff, but the series got a reboot done by Alan Moore, and later written by Neil Gaiman. Those comics are absolutely astounding. They're hard to track down, and worth a lot of money each, but a friend of mine actually managed to get most of them.

For Anti-heroes, let's go with Black Adam.

Bart Allen would be my favourite. So Kid Flash, or whatever name he's going by at the moment (I'm a bit behind with my DC Comics...)

Pointing to my avatar, mine would the Blue Beetle!
Mine's the other guy in your avatar, Booster Gold, "the greatest hero you've never heard of"
yeah, more love for the Blue and the Gold!
