Too bad it won't happen, all they have a chance of getting is a remake, wouldn't it be a better idea to remake an awful movie? well I did just read about a "Drop Dead Fred" remake with Russel Brand so I guess it can't be worse than the original.

Some of the 80's videogame based movies (wargames, the last starfighter, the wizard) should get sequels utilizing the new advanced gaming technology.

Perhaps more Conan? Make up for the horrible Conan The Destroyer.

Labyrinth would also be fun.

Not exactly a family classic, but I'd like to see more done with Scanners, it was a good film, the sequels were rubbish though. Not a remake, but a good re-imagining.
But Arnie isn't in the business any more excluding cameos and it would be horrific to see a Conan sequel with an alternative actor.

Also, that best be Labyrinth as in David Bowie's Labyrinth. I would totally watch a sequel to that.

they need to make a sequel for Real Genius...that movie was great...
I heard rumors that they are re-making real genius, with Val Kilmer as the evil dean.

I loved Labyrinth, and I would love to see another story told in that style and with that sort of atmosphere, but I wouldn't want to see a sequel per se. Most of the appeal, for me at least, came from the strangeness of the world and experiencing the wonderment of discovery through Sarah. If they just told another story about her, that wonderment would be gone, since she's already had so much experience with that world. But with a fresh main character, a new villain (because nobody could properly replicate Bowie's Goblin King), and at least a few new Muppets to meet with whatever old ones they bring back (I do so love those Muppets), they could make another fun experience with it. Of course, given today's media market, I wouldn't trust anyone to actually pull it off, but still, it would be nice to see another quirky 80s fantasy.

There is a Lost Boys sequel and it is awful.

Speilberg is in the process of concocting a Goonies sequel as we type.

I just assumed ******* was a game. My mistake.
I would delete this comment from the forum unless you want nerd rage all over your face. Also, there is a new Conan being made

Never ever please a Lost boys reboot. A spinoff maybe. But i worry about my classics to much that i could allow remakse.
You're about 2 years too late.

Also voting for "can they please stop doing reboots and sequels altogether?" or at least "can we please stop begging them to shovel more half-baked shit based on things we love down our throats?"

Definitely Ferris Bueller's Day Off. That film was amazing. If there were a sequel it should be his "Night Off", set a few years later, as he's working and has swung himself a night off. Equal levels of hilarity ensue.

I'm just waiting on a sequel to The Thing.

And I'm cringing at the Red Dawn remake, to say nothing of the Karate Kid one. ><

VERY looking forward to the Tron sequel, tho.

evil dean...nah i don't think that idea would work out very well..at the same time i'm not sure if kilmer would be able to pull off the kinda zaniness he did as a kid in the 1st one so maybe the movie would have to take that kind of turn...but i'd still go see that movie...

I voted labyrinth. Only because thats the only one that could be inproved with todays advanced special effects. Goonies and Ferris Buellers Day Off would be distroyed if they were remade and theres not really a need. If people wanted to see them they can just watch the origionals, no need to watch a remake lol.

Be good to see labyrinth with some good special effects
