Where's the "HANDS OFF MY CHILDHOOD" option? seriously I think we need to take out a restraining order against Hollywood to stop them molesting our collective childhoods.

Considering the fact that Ferris Bueller is the only movie on this list I've actually seen, this wasn't really a hard decision.

The Labyrinth would be awesome but you would also need to have David Bowie re-cast as the goblin king, which kind of creates a flaw with the idea.

I think having sequels to any of those movies would ruin the first ones
The whole reason their remembered as good movies from most of our childhoods is that they were singular stories that did not require another movie.

Plus, after 20 years of peaceful living in the minds of those that grew up with them, to see present-day Studio Producers blatantly destroy them with gimmick-filled and pop-culture garbage.

So in short, I agree none of these movies need sequels.

There needs to be a "none of the above" option. Of those movies that were good, I can't see a sequel being even slightly bearable.

Given the list:

Labyrinth: Would probably contain too much CGI and probably no music (or shitty music.) Pass.

The Lost Boys: There was a sequel (with the only great thing being a cameo by horror-legend Tom Savini) that sucked (some pun intended.) With all the tweenie vampire stories/movies/shows I think it's best we leave this franchise alone.

Heathers: We had "Mean Girls" which I know wasn't the same but I don't see the need to reboot a film about 3 girls being bitches and 1 weird dude who likes to stir things up (though if they did do this movie I'd love to see Slater in a cameo.)

Ferris Bueller's Day Off: No. Just "NO". The tv show was terrible. We don't need a new movie with a snarky-teen who pulls shit off despite "the man" trying to stop him. It was great 20-ish years ago, it'd come off as crap now.

...that leaves...

The Goonies: I think this'd be a fun one to reboot. It'd have to be a good adventure story, and the actors would have to be fun and endearing; not the cavalcade of tweenies that Disney & Nickelodeon parcel out who can't really act and aren't all that entertaining to watch.

Never ever please a Lost boys reboot. A spinoff maybe. But i worry about my classics to much that i could allow remakse.
You're about 2 years too late.

Also voting for "can they please stop doing reboots and sequels altogether?" or at least "can we please stop begging them to shovel more half-baked shit based on things we love down our throats?"
Soon to be two sequels too late.

Blue Velvet.

On a more serious note, Ridley Scott should definitely do a spiritual successor to Blade Runner.

I dislike all of the listed movies, and would despise any sequel made. However, this would be a good quiz for "other: please specify."

I am pretty sure that if you try to make a remake of The Labyrinth it would completely loose its charm. I say hands off.

If I absolutely had to pick one, I'd say Ferris Bueller's Day Off, only because it's my favorite movie of all time... but really, although I love it, the goonies and I enjoyed the labyrinth... I think they should stay as classics. No sequel, no re-make, no nothing. They were whole and complete stories then, and they are now.

Of the one's I've actually seen (which is only 2 of 'em) I'm going to have to say none of the above. I'm all for the whole digitally remastering thing with the improved visuals and whatever, but no sequels and no reboots! These movies, at least the 2 I've seen, did not strike me as sequel worthy phenomena, not that they weren't great, quite the contrary; but they were not the type of stories that warranted a sequel. It be like trying to make a sequel to Aladdin. Oh wait...

And don't get me started on reboots!
