Question of the Day, May 6, 2010

Eighties classic Dark Crystal is set to receive a welcomed sequel. What other cult classics need a reboot?

I voted Ferris because (call me crazy) but I distinctly remember that there WAS a sequel being made quite a few years ago; the plot basically involving a day off from work. Anybody else hear about that?

I'd like to see a continuation of Elite. Actually, I would kill for it. On that note, we need a good Privateer sequel, and a new version of the Bladerunner point and click would be great too.

Also, more Zork.
The poll is about movies, not games. :p

OT: If I had to choose one of the provided options, I'd go with The Labyrinth.

Never ever please a Lost boys reboot. A spinoff maybe. But i worry about my classics to much that i could allow remakse.

I'm prety sure there's already a sequel to The Lost Boys. Anyways, I'm not sure I should vote, I really don't think any of these films should be remade/rebooted or whatever.

I'd like to point out there's a sequel to The Lost Boys, and it was a bucket of CRAP.

Also, the only acceptable answer is LEGEND.

Perhaps more Conan? Make up for the horrible Conan The Destroyer.

Labyrinth would also be fun.

Not exactly a family classic, but I'd like to see more done with Scanners, it was a good film, the sequels were rubbish though. Not a remake, but a good re-imagining.
They are making a new Conan movie. Comes out next year. Jason Momoa from Stargate Atlantis is playing Conan. The man has some insane fighting skills so it should be awesome

everything else that comes to mid for me is already being rebooted eg Red Dawn and Tron
Cant wait for those movies

Ferris Buellers Day Off. It has tons of potential, if they bring back Matthew Broderick.

NO MORE!!! I'm so sick of the sequels and remakes!! Stop ruining great movies, and develop some creativity, Hollywood!!!

Well, the Labyrinth is the only one I've seen so I'll go with that, despite not wanting a sequel for that obnoxious movie.

If I had to choose one, I would choose The Labyrinth since I don't think any of the other movies should even be touched by the corrosive claws of modern Hollywood.

Ferris Bueller...

One Man... Look I don't know what my brother is getting into now.

One Day... If we don't do this now then when? After your first job, after your first family, after your first hip?

With everything to lose! Let's do it! Wait wait no! Not in reverse!

Matthew Broderick ... is... BUUUEEELLLLLEERRRRRR!!!!

Absolutely not. I would cringe at the thought of any of the above films getting a sequel.
