Although that's really only as far as marriage is kept a government institution. I also believe that the entire concept of marriage should be privatized and not really recognized or supported by the government, so whether a gay couple can get married would depend on the policies of the individual marriage service the couple decides to use, whether it be religious or secular.

On the subject the politics that a gay couple may not raise a child right, that is just silly thinly veiled discrimination based on sexual orientation. food for thought

the general institution of marriage seems like an exercise in futility to me, but thats a whole 'nother subject, so thats why i put neutral.
