You're sitting there at your computer, when suddenly a pipe bomb is thrown into the room. How do you avoid being turned into bloody giblets?

I would jump up and quickly leave the room, as there is a door nearby. I could also just run to the other side of the room, but I'd rather have a wall then distance in this case.

I would either duck my head down, as I'm on a sofa facing away from the door at quite a distance. If it was thrown over the sofa, I would jump round to the left of my sofa, and if it came through the window, I would jump to my right and to the side of the sofa.

And pray that my sofa holds.

I'd probably try and throw it back, as it takes a while to leave my computer desk because it's awkwardly positioned.

Well, I'm assuming that since they threw a pipe bomb, they probably are waiting outside with something decidedly unpleasant if I run out. So.
A. I grab the bomb and try to throw it back.
B. depending on where the bomb is, I might be able to use some things for cover.
C. I throw my boot through the window, jump out, fall 2 stories and probably break my legs.
