This. Fearow kicked it's ass especially, in gen 2. The Eveelutions really came into their own after Gen .3 but Umbreon and Espeon rocked even in gen .2 Personally i think Flareon has always sucked and have thus never used it.

Agreed. The idea was that Pidgeot was supposed to be a flying tank, but it just didn't work. Fearow had DP, and it just raped everything.

Agreed for the most part. What makes me laugh so much about the Poison type is that it was only used to balance the game. Imagine if Gengar was never poison type in Gen 1? He'd be even more broken than he already is.

The only exception is that Weezing and Muk were tanks, good tanks too. Any tank that can explode is A-Class in my book.

Muk was pretty good back in Gen 2, could take a hell of a beating.

He can still DISH one hell of a beating...Base 105 attack, and access to all 3 elemental punches. And Explosion. And Focus Punch.

Wait what!? Really? That sucks arse! I love my Wing attack + Technicican Scyther, and now I find out that the game gimps its true potential?

OT: Favourite pokemon that sucks ... hmmm ... I'm not sure if they suck but I'll list my favourites anyway in case someone thinks they do. Umbreon, Arcanine, Scyther ... okay nevermind I got one. Suicune. It's a water-dog (Hellz yeah!) can learn ice moves (I love ice!), and the lore behind it would suggest that it's freaky-fast (I like high-speed pokemon, something about attacking first appeals to me) but is it? No! I caught it and its speed was the worst of my entire party (and that's accounting for the 10 level difference between it and my main party)!

So yeah, Suicune, you got my hopes up in Heartgold than brutally ripped apart my dreams ... you arse.

Hell no. Weakness to rock, water, ice AND thunder? The only reason I kept him is because he's cool as hell.

And 4x Stealth Rock weakness, too! Fucking Stealth Rock actually matters online.

Ya, half of its health lost the instant it comes out, definitely hurts.

OT: Typhlosion is one of my favourites to use, but it is absolutely destroyed by a lot of things, stealth rocks being a major one, not to mention there are many fire types that does a better job. Shallow movepool and relying too much on Hidden Power, Typlosion simply does not have a lot of redeeming factors.

Okay that's a point. I've never gotten into the Meta-game as I really can't be bothered with IV breeding and EV leveling. Tried it once but got bored. Still, a lot of poison types could do with being a bit better...

Kabutops for a pokemon I was so hyped to get since you got the fossils in the very beginning. I have never been so disappointed in a pokemon. Let's just throw Omnistar up there with it. I'll stick with Blastoise.

I haven't tested it yet, but it requires a gen 3 Charizard (for Rage) and a gen 3 Eevee (for Mimic) and something that knows Transform.

Apparently it's a glitch from what the guy says in the description of video. It is also banned because it opens up possibilities for other pokemon that can use this, sadly enough. Flareon does get Nitro Charge in Gen 5 though, Physical fire move and all.

It's only lvl 43 at the moment, but it has Fire Spin, Smog, Quick Attack, and Bite. I'll be swapping out Smog for Fire Blast shortly. Kicks ass. Yet to run into a non-water type fight that it couldn't handle.

How the fuck are you kicking ass?

Smog has a base power of 20...Fire Spin of 15...

Quick Attack has 40. And Bite has 60.

Anything wins in story mode, I suppose. ANYTHING.

horn attack(i was planning on replacing later but never got around to it)

megahorn(its bug type so it counters psychics)

the only problem is that you cant let it evolve past Nidoran for 40 some lvls because nidorino and nidoking learn horn drill and megahorn at the same lvls. And also that nidoking is ground which just adds a whole lot of un-needed super effectives against him

was gona make a elemental punching nidoqueen but i quit pokemon recently, whats the point when you can't really catch them all since i dont have online to get the legendaries and trade
