I'm gunna say Gengar.
It's attacks are phenomenal....but it's defence is proportionally worse...
The amount of times my Gengars have been one hit KO'd

Apparently it's a glitch from what the guy says in the description of video. It is also banned because it opens up possibilities for other pokemon that can use this, sadly enough. Flareon does get Nitro Charge in Gen 5 though, Physical fire move and all.
It's weaker than Fire Fang! Nitro Charge sucks, too.

And to really break the game...Sheer Cold Machamp. 100% hit rate thanks to No Guard on an instant kill move with no immunites. (Ghosts can't be killed by Horn Drill/Guilitine, Flying immune to Fissure).

I didn't like Flareon that much, the only evolutions of eevee I like are Espeon and Umbreon but mostly I prefer Eevee itself.

My Flareon is pretty badass, actually.

It's only lvl 43 at the moment, but it has Fire Spin, Smog, Quick Attack, and Bite. I'll be swapping out Smog for Fire Blast shortly. Kicks ass. Yet to run into a non-water type fight that it couldn't handle.
How the fuck are you kicking ass?

Smog has a base power of 20...Fire Spin of 15...

Quick Attack has 40. And Bite has 60.

Anything wins in story mode, I suppose. ANYTHING.
Basically. There are sunkern-only runs, and Cynthia was beaten with a level 1 team because the game could be so easily exploited.

With that said, I'll replace Venusaur with Sunkern. Cutest fucking pokemon ever.

The only rule in story mode is higher level and/or type advantage = WIN.

Lolwut?

When I played competitively I saw Gengars everywhere. Everyone and their brother uses Gengar. His speed is obnoxious.

OT: It seems that all of my favorite Pokemon suck a big fat turd competitvely. Charizard, Articuno, and Meganium all are about as effective as a Magikarp.

Charizard could be awesome too if it weren't for bloody stealth rock.

That's a damn shame, since Flareon is by far my favorite eevelution, and I'm a water trainer, which makes that double impressive.

My favorite pokemon which sucks arse is probably Fearow or Pidgeot. Ferow only evolves once and from when it evolves you have to work your arse off unreasonably just so it can keep up with your other pokemon and Pidgeot is awesome, but it just gets outclassed in everything it's good at, which is a damn shame because it's really awesome looking.

My girlfriend's sucky favorite is Corsola.

Ariados. Bugs suck. Poison sucks. I've known this since G1. But somehow him using Sludge Bomb at Level 55 is enough to one-shot a great deal of the Elite Four's stuff.

You've got the high ground there mate, my girlfriend's Gengar is a fucking beast, and she hasn't bothered to up it's defense, since it's just rapes arse with it's speed and attack, it's an awesome first-strike pokemon.
The moves she has on it are:
Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Shadow Ball and Thunder.
That lineup will fuck you up every time.

I do respect your choices too, Articuno is such a pimp pokemon I swear it shits diamonds. As for Charizard, it's really cool, tho I've never liked it that much and Meganium is somehow just awesome looking.

Gengar in gen 1.

It is all built up that ghosts are the best way to defeat psychics, so you catch one, train it up, then realise there are no ghost type moves other than the level-damage one and he is weak to psychic attacks.

I felt ripped off!

Still, ghosts rock.

Wigglytuff. Because it's too awesome, not to use. But yeah...

I remember when I was younger I somehow managed to hatch a Hitmontop (by complete accident) and I always tried to convince myself that it didn't suck. But it never worked.

Dear Game Freak,

Can you stop making Flareon suck? Can you at least give it Earthquake or Flare Blitz? Or some kinda decent physical attack moves? Flareon has a massive attack stat, and absolute nothing to do with it. Flareon is actually better off using a special attack based moveset, and that's a damn shame. Super Power ain't enough. No STAB. Stat drop after use, and poor type coverage.

All the other Eeveelutions are totally viable in one way or another.

Espeon is Psychic death. Umbreon can tank and stall. Vaporeon can tank, sweep, stall, heal, and do it all. Jolteon is fast as fuck, and an exceptional Baton Passer. Leafeon has a great attack and defense stats, and a varied movepool to go with it. Glaceon is a pretty damn good Ice type, with good special attack.

It's Generation 5.

You have actually had 6 chances to fix Flareon merely by adding a few moves...Gen 2. Gen 3. Fire Red/Leaf Green. Gen 4. Heart Gold/Soul Silver. And now...Gen 5. And you still make Flareon suck.

R.I.P. Flareon

And F.U. Game Freak.

Worst Wishes,
Onyx
____________

STAB = Same Type Attack Bonus, meaning that if a pokemon is the same type as the move it used, it does 1.5x damage. 1.25x for dual type pokemon.

For some discussion:
What's your favorite pokemon to use that actually sucks?
Dear Game Freak, can you make Nidoking come back as an OU? he can learn a MASSIVE amount of moves, but i would like to see him have better abilities.

plus, he could kick tyranitar's ass if he was a little faster (since he can use moves like cross chop)

also, why does Farfetch'd have to suck?

Actually, the only rule of story mode is "If you have enough revives you can never ever lose. Period.".

That said, my problem isn't so much that my favorite pokemon to use is BAD, as it is the opposite, my favorite pokemon is TOO good, and no one would play against me if I used him. I think you all know where this is going:

Well, to be fair, my SECOND favorite pokemon falls into this catagory, Sudowoodo:

Great attack stat, but abysmal speed, lackluster defenses and a not-that-great type make him less than ideal.

I LOVE Flareon. My most favourite Eveelution.

seeing that vid involving getting Flare Blitz with Flareon, I WILL use it. not so I can break the game, heavens no. but so Flareon can get a move she was supposed to learn A LONG TIME AGO.

My favourite Useless Pokemon is Wailord. I tried battling with him, but he was so damn big that it wouldn't fit in any of the Gym arenas, and he needs a large body of Water. Plus where the hell am I supposed to find 10 tonnes of Krill in the middle of a forest at dinner time?

Then there was that time I was at a concert and his Pokeball accidentally fell out of my Pocket and he got out. They still haven't got the stains out of the floor.

Hm...how about some Generation 3 love. My favs that (somewhat) suck are Manectric and Aron. Manectric because even though he has always been outclassed by Jolteon and Luxray, I've always thought he was one of most appealing pokemon in the game. Aron needs a bit more explaining.

The first time I took on the fifth gym leader (Norman?) in R/S I was under-leveled and cocky. I thought that I could go through the gym with my five strongest pokemon and raise up an Aron I caught using an Exp. Share. When I got to Norman, it was approx lvl 12.

I decided to open up the battle with Aron and switch him out as soon as it started so that it could get more exp. points. Unfortunately, Norman had a Linoone that did Pursuit, and it almost killed the Aron. That was when I realized a flaw in my *brilliant* strategy. I didn't have a pokemon above lvl 31 (Manectric, ironically) . Norman's Slaking was between Lvl 36-38, and through the battle I was reduced to my last Pokemon (the Aron) with no revives. I thought I was screwed, but I decided to see if a miracle could happen.

I received a miracle from the gods of stupidity. Norman went from a skilled battler to complete moron. He kept on ordering Slaking to do Focus Punch. He never got one off due to the fact that he Truant at every other turn, and when he was "focusing" I just Metal Clawed him.

40 times.

I defeated a Slaking with an Aron.

I know I wasn't supposed to win that match. I know that Aron could have died a million different ways. I know that Norman (despite being the trainer's father) was incredibly stupid. I know that even Aggron is in NU due to its poor type matchup and that it is outclassed by a steel and cheese sandwich. I don't care. Since that match I've always had a very soft spot for Aron, and I hope one day that it could get a huge boost one day in a future generation.

Speaking of which I use to include Cloyster on this list, but apparently it received some nice gifts in the next generation. To use Cloyster and be competitive with it is honestly one of the top reasons why I want B/W.
