Wait...what? They send you that? I'm confused
Sorry, they send me angry messages telling me to get good at the game and to stop grabbing.
Now I'm more confused. You countered their spamming Sagat and they tell you to get good?

I dont rage quit for the achievements of others, i occasionally rage quit for my own failings. If ive forced myself to play a map i dont like on Cod6 or enter the game with the wrong attitude i never enjoy myself, i die over and over and have no fun, i leave the game and search for a new one some time later to improve my game. If the enemy has a tactical nuke i go in shotgun blazing. I respect decent players, i always compliment skilled snipers on TF2 who outsnipe me, my main aim is fun though, if im not having fun because ive made a terrible mistake phycologically i quit.

I only ragequit when the admin rageresets the server >_>
That's a new one. Haven't heard that one before(Sorry, not much of a PC gamer)
Easy enough though. Admins of servers can reset theirs if they want to with a simple command like /resetgame or something like that. Happens quite often in games like Halo and CS (on the PC)

Why would they do that?

I never ragequit. It is dishonorable.

In fact in Halo 3 if you decide to quit you'll get a message saying something like:

Do you really want to quit?

B- No, I will finish with honor

A- Yes, I am a coward!
lol!! I love that cuz it always makes you think twice

like once I reallyy had to leave in the middle of a match to give someone a ride...

Because I euh ... negatively balanced their K/D ratio. To put it politely.

Usually, I never rage-quit to deny victory. Sometimes I'll quit when I'm getting frustrated, yes, but never to deny someone a victory intentionally. If they've beaten me, they deserve to win usually. Even if they don't, why bother denying victory? It's only a game.

Although I went through a phase where I would be playing clan matches and told to quit last minute to avoid a loss being counted on their little statistics sheet; and then they released a patch.

I have never left when frustrated or losing if there was something to win, even if it's just 1xp. If there was no benefit to me or the opposing player in me staying until the end, then I may leave, if the opposition is a sore-winner. Otherwise, it's just jokes a plenty at the fact I suck.

Points for whoever stays until the end of the match, that's what I say. Participation award :p

As far as I can remember, I've only ever rage quit three times in the entirety of my online gaming experience. Once, years ago in a game of Counter-Strike: Source wherein I was actually doing quite well. However, the server admin didn't take kindly to my whooping his ass so he kept slapping me when I would, say, try to snipe or kept changing my name to some derogatory term. The second and third times were in Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2, respectively. Both times involved games of versus against teams that consistently used every damn cheap trick, glitch, and exploit in the book.

However, I've lost count of the number of times I've made an opposing team rage-quit in Left 4 Dead 2, let alone any other online game. Most people just can't handle losing.

This will sound strange but I've only experienced the darkside of ragequitting through Yugioh 2008 for the DS. It was shortly after I started trying online play and built up a competent deck. I lost a few matches, sure. When I had a couple of wins, I was elated and thought that things were going good. After a while, however I came across a string of jerks who quit seconds before my victory could be awarded. It wouldn't have been so bad if not for the fact that all the experience points I gained (not a lot as I had only started recently) had vanished because of assholes who feel like losing legitimately will cause them to die or something. If it would cause them to die, that would have been great because then no one else would have had that problem.

What's worse is they had less points (if any) than I did. So they end up losing less than me which only further infuriated me. Since then, I've avoided YGO online and stuck to games where ranking and shit doesn't come into play, like L4D or something.

No, I only quit between games, never during. Unless I have to, because I really should be somewhere, doing something else. Usually about 5 minutes before I finish a match. I did, however, enjoy Bungie's semi-abusive message when I had to leave a Halo 3 game in progress due to having to be on the other side of town in an inhumanly short space of time...

I frown upon Rage Quitting. The thing that irks me is that it's usually the experienced or skilled players that have their head up their own asses. The type that thinks they are the bees knees and that anyone else is a "scrub". Ironically these people may be decently skilled, but they are usually average to me (when it comes to Quake 3 anyways).

When I quit mid-game, it's usually because I have to leave for real life reasons, or because I've already been playing for a good while. I rarely do ever join a server and quit before even one round is finished.

Dude, it's not CoD6 it's MW2. Why is everybody so stupid.
Um, seeing as it's the 6th Call of Duty game, and the last one (World at War) was often called CoD5, I'd say calling it CoD6 is justified. Perhaps you should pull your head out of your ass and think before you call someone stupid "Dude". ;)
