I love Cammy, mainly because I hate shotos. I remember when I used to main as Abel, and I viciously destroyed this Ken user(Something I never did as Abel) He quit right I pulled off an ultra that would KO him. I was pretty pissed.Durxom said:I never ragequit either, if I lost, then I lost fair and square...usually, and hopefully I can learn from it. Especially with fighting games, I can see how they might not want to get more losses on their player record or what not, but seriously?? Just learn from your mistakes.
I did however make an Akuma ragequit on SF4 over the weekend, after I whooped his butt with my Cammy =P
I think I love you.....and, rage-quitting is a *****Daveman said:If fighting is sure to result in victory then you must FIGHT!GodKlown said:Rage-quitting is a pathetic thing, and not tactically smart if you are on the losing end. Doesn't anyone read The Art of War anymore?
Sun Tsu said that... and I'd say he knows a little more about fighting than YOU DO PAL because he INVENTED IT... and then he PERFECTED IT until NO living man could BEST him in the ring of honour.
Then he used his fight money to buy TWO of every animal on earth. Then he herded them onto a BOAT... and then he beat the crap out of every single one of them.
And that's why any time a group of animals are together in one place it's called a ZOO!
UNLESS IT'S A FARM.
m_jim said:Exactly. If a team is playing a cheap game, like using the unholy trinity of Marathon/Lightweight/Commando, grenade spamming, or glitching in MW2, I see no reason to play to the end just to give them the satisfaction of a victory that wasn't earned. I want it to be empty, meaningless, and hollow.
Usually with friends, they understand. Hell, most of the time something comes up and they are cool with it.reg42 said:I've done it once, because I was new to the game (It was only of the WC3 battle.net games) and everyone (even on my team) was insulting me. Eventually I was like 'fuck this' and I left, just before we lost. I'll do it at LANs, but mostly that's just friends joking around.
I've seen the DOTA abbreviation a lot on the site. What does it mean?Random Argument Man said:I ragequit when IBM is getting the best of me.
On an actual game: Once you play DOTA, ragequitting seems like an option instead of something to be avoided.
Defense of the ancients* It's a mod map with Warcraft 3. It's community is on the same level of immaturity as xbox live. There's a few problems too.Aura Guardian said:I've seen the DOTA abbreviation a lot on the site. What does it mean?Random Argument Man said:I ragequit when IBM is getting the best of me.

Not much of a PC gamer, but if I get a nice gaming laptop(Yeah yeah I know). I'll give it a shot. My current laptop runs TF2 but it looks awful. I need to build a better one. I don't want a PC because I would have to share with the family.Random Argument Man said:Defense of the ancients* It's a mod map with Warcraft 3. 1.It's very hard to get into.
2.Everyone hates newcomers.
3.It's pretty hard to master.
Ragequitting happens very often. The other player gains a lot of experience with each kills. They often prey on players with lower levels. It's call feeding. When a weak player happens to die a lot, they often get shouted at. Most of the time, the player leaves or the entire team leaves.
If you want to try DOTA, get into a clan and play an organized match.
It's a Warcraft 3 mod map. It doesn't take much to run with. I can run it with my old Macbook.Aura Guardian said:Snip
Now I just need to find a copy of Warcraft 3. Thanks for the tip.Random Argument Man said:It's a Warcraft 3 mod map. It doesn't take much to run with. I can run it with my old Macbook.Aura Guardian said:Snip
EDIT: I'm serious though. Get some friends to play it. Otherwise, you'll hate it.
