Dude, it's not CoD6 it's MW2. Why is everybody so stupid.
Um, seeing as it's the 6th Call of Duty game, and the last one (World at War) was often called CoD5, I'd say calling it CoD6 is justified. Perhaps you should pull your head out of your ass and think before you call someone stupid "Dude". ;)
It's better than MewTwo which makes no sense

Well, in Halo Wars I have been Prophet rushing for the past week (A surprisingly good tactic). On average, 9/10 of my opponents quit. Even when I don't rush, but rather play "fair", about half of my opponents rage quit. It really pisses me off.

I think it is stupid to call it 'CoD6' when it is clearly not called that. I am sure that the next one that comes out will be 'CoD6' and then you'll feel real stupid. You also shouldn't call 'CoD:WaW' 'CoD5' because it is 'CoD:WaW' not 'CoD5'.

He is called 'MewTwo' because he is a clone of 'Mew' and thus the second 'Mew' (I think), Even though there is quite a bit of differences between them.

Exactly. If a team is playing a cheap game, like using the unholy trinity of Marathon/Lightweight/Commando, grenade spamming, or glitching in MW2, I see no reason to play to the end just to give them the satisfaction of a victory that wasn't earned. I want it to be empty, meaningless, and hollow.
Minus the glitching, those are all completely reasonable strategies that you should be able to counter or accept defeat.

Congrats, you ragequit if you leave because they use a tactic you don't like.

Yes, I do. I feel that playing with those "tactics" (can you hear the ire?) is contrary to the spirit of the game. If someone wants to run around and stab people, they should play Assassin's Creed, not Call of Duty. Plus, the mechanics with the knife+Commando are broken. As for the Scavenger/Danger Close loadout with grenade launcher+thumper, it removes any pretense of skill. It's simply not a sportsmanlike thing to do, because it turns multiplayer into a different, much less fun game.

In real-life, if someone is being a knucklehead and ruining a game, you can tell them to knock it off. Since that isn't an option with online play, I simply leave.

I'm sorry, did you just say spirit of the game? The spirit of the game is having fun. If you don't notice Jack the Ripper1245 running at you with a fucking sword cane, he earned that kill and you have no right to complain. Learn to look for that sort of shit instead of complaining.

It's not exactly EASY to get close enough to someone to slit their throat when they have a FUCKING GUN.

You can't tell me that, regardless of character build, a melee fighter has some sort of insurmountable trump card over even a dude with just a Colt .45. You have the advantage. Use it.

I have no idea what a grenade launcher+thumper is, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to bypass that part of your post. No offense meant.

Also, play in leagues or something where such tactics are illegal. That's what I do to solve a problem.

There's a reason you don't play with pubbers :x.

The spirit of the game is Modern Warfare, not Knife Fight Extravaganza. And when they can teleport across a room (during which time they are invincible to gunfire) to plant a combat knife in you, yes the do have an advantage. A knife is a one hit kill, regardless of angle of attack or range (assuming that you score a hit), whereas hitting someone at point blank range with a shotgun (which would cut JackTheRipper1245 in half in real life) is not. Combine magical teleportation kills with the ability to run quickly and never tire, and yes I would say that such a class is truly and utterly broken. I have no desire to play with people who use exploits to gain an advantage.

I know that. But a lot of people on this site call Modern Warfare 2 MewTwo. Which makes no sense.

I think it's "stupid" that people like you somehow take offense from someone calling those games cod5 or cod6. It's completely idiotic and irrational. Those two games are the 5th and 6th games in the Call of Duty series. Ergo, Call of Duty 5 and Call of Duty 6. The arbitrary titles they add at the end are completely meaningless. Furthermore, if the next Call of Duty game that comes out (and I think the series needs to be put down by this point) is in fact called Call of Duty 6, then it would be safe to say that Infinity Ward or whoever develops it would feel "real" stupid for showing that they apparently don't know how to count. (real stupid, as opposed to fake stupid)

When I join a multiplayer game, I'm in it for the duration, regardless of the outcome. You win some, you lose some. The only way I'll quit a game in progress is if people are acting like retards (TK, etc.)

Ragequitting is just another face of cowardice. Or being a dick. Take your pick. :p

I used to have a terrible habit of doing that, but I've got it under control. Curiously, I stopped doing it the second I swore off MW2. From now on, it's playing with friends, or nothing.

I've never rage quit. Not once.

Accept your defeats kids! That way, you become stronger.

I hate it when people do it in discussions online as well. You just get into a grove and whittle the person down to an amicable compromise of viewpoints, and then they just go and fuck off!

Have they no integrity?
Exactly, I agree with this wholeheartedly.

People need to accept their losses especially given that it is just a game and that really it shouldn't bother them when they lose.

I never rage quit, not even when the rest of my team ragequitted in social big team in halo 3.

I decided to use it as a opportunity to see how long I could survive on a mongoose by myself.
