A Zero Punctiation "review".

I bought Overlord 2 and I loved it. Played it through to the end, barely had any control or camera problems. Only frustrating moments were sailing and the reds and blues running up to close combat for no reason for me. I found the review entertaining and funny but you were too harsh, hard on the game.

I have intense dislike for the welfare system in the U.S. as people can very easily abuse the system. Incidentally, as a grocery store clerk, I always want to mouth off to welfare bums who buy food with a food-stamp card, and then pull out a wad of 50s or a gold credit card to pay for a case of beer and a carton cigarettes. Fuck them!

Another instance is a particular event that happened to me. There is yet another welfare program for folks who have kids and can't support them financially (because, at least in this country, having more kids makes you get more welfare, which is why we have so many stupid people infecting society), called WIC. WIC (Women Infant Children) is a program where they give the recipient a check for milk, baby formula, juice, and other nutrient-rich foods for kids, and there is a strict list of items they can buy, and the check lists those specific items on the front.

So I'm working at my register counter, and a really bitchy 20-something comes up, hands me four checks, and slams down a whole bunch of Simlac bottles. I scan one, and it's not in the computer database, so it won't work. That's not our fault, the WIC office didn't authorize it. So I call a manager's assistance, and the the ***** is checking her watch and sighing loudly to show she's in a hurry. She gets really catty when the manager says there's nothing he can do, and she tells him her time is valuable an she's "in a hurry." She then takes her checks and walks off with her attitude.

This is what I want to say to every welfare customer I get who has an attitude (i.e. the dishonest ones whom abuse the system, as the more well-mannered people who actually need the help don't really have bad attitudes). "Fuck you. My taxes go to pay for your food so you can sit on your ass and leech off of the government. Your time is not valuable because you're obviously not carrying your own weight. You don't deserve and opinion because you didn't earn it. Now get out of my sight before I do something that will actually benefit society by leaving one less parasitic bum to drain the money away from the (working) people that matter."

WOW. i wish everyone had this attitude. i hate deadbeat scum who scrounge from the government.
as for my story, working in a supermarket I once took an extremely fat woman, and I mean extremely fat, to the wrong isle. she asked me to show her the burgers, so i took her to fruit and veg, told her to have some of that instead. she wasn't happy and called a manager, so i got a a disciplinary. or theres the people who come to the counter with zoo nuts or FHM and try to hide it in shame, so I often make a call asking for the price. if your that embarassed dont buy it

Lara Croft, without a shadow of a doubt.

She was the first public attempt at a strong female character (Samus wore armour), and whatever you think of the games, you have to notice that she has two movies, nine games, an extremely long comic series, and is recognised as one of the 'faces of gaming'. This suggests that there is something behind her which makes her something extra.

Why yes, I am new here, will this start a flame war?

Seriously though, Tomb Raider III was my first game ever, and without the character of Lara Croft, I probably wouldn't still be gaming today, and in my opinion that makes her the best.

And it's an opinion I stand by, even as they turn Kim Kardashian into the new face for the movie, and release a Lara croft game that has nothing to do with Tomb Raider...

You remember episode 27 I think it was when they had to answer questions from the statue and for the last question it said that if they get it wrong it would send Schmoopy back to the past? That's what happened!

As each antagonist is, obviously, a pervarsion of your own flaws, etc. I feel that my antagonist would be myself. Or that is to say, someone/thing that looks like me, stares at me with burning hatred, and rots away into the fog.

The smaller monsters would all be attractive freudian nightmares crossed with lsd fueled nightmares. Enticing, yet all together harrowing. Yet, there would never be more than one at time, thus proving a horrible sense of isolation, plus a terrible dilema: die or kill the only other possible companions I could have in this perpetual hell.

As far as the town itself goes, I think the bareness of Silent Hill 2's Silent Hill would fit perfectly.

it's suprising that the game that was supposedly the game that won so many awards got boring after the first playthrough. It was fun, but after you beat it once, its worthless.
I bought it for $60... worst financial descision of my life, that 60 dollars could have been used for so much more...

it's a game to rent, not buy

Now unless I try games, I won't buy right away, and reviews don't help, they all said Bioshock was great... only for the first playthrough

the only exception for this is Haze for the PS3, and the reason for that is that it is being made by the creators of Goldeneye for the N64, possiably the greatest FPS of all time, and the Timesplitters games, games that were always fun.

Oh god...
That was so long ago, I had no idea Haze would suck! Believe me!
