Two weird dreams.
A) First one. I kind of eventually figured what the dream was telling me, but I'd like to hear some other takes on it. It was a recurrent when I was about 15 years old. Here goes.
I am standing at the top of this circular amphitheater, all the way up on a tower. It is all bathed in this eerie grey light. It is night, but the sky is all black, no stars, no moon, nothing. There's no light source and everything is absolutely still. On the opposite side of the amphitheater is another tower, and at the top there's another person. Only this person is also me, looking back at me. In order to communicate with my other self I yell but the moment I do the entire space around me warps and twists, no sound coming out of my mouth. The warping air presses on my ears and makes me feel completely deaf. Until I stop "screaming" the space returns to its normal state with my other self still looking back at me from the other side. This scream/pressure keeps on going until one of my screams is so loud that the pressure on my head makes me wake up.
Odd, huh?
b) so yeah, by now everybody's seen Inception, but a lot of years ago I had some variations of dream within dream for some months. In fact, sometimes it would be dream within dream within dream within dream. I would wake up from a dream and actually feel like I was awake, even talk to people and comment on the dream I just had and then I'd wake up again. I would sometimes would think back on that weird dream within dream stuff and then I would wake up again. Only one time were there about three layers of waking up but when I actually woke up for the last time I didn't know what was real anymore. I guess this is why inception reaaaaaaaally got to me.
