Had someone yelling at me that I was camping, in Modern Warfare 2, while I was counter-camping him. Then, he yelled at me about how I sucked and how I was playing unfairly. Note that I was using a basic assault class against him. I was dominating him, and so he got REALLY mad.
I interrupted him and said that it was people like him that give gamers a bad rep.
He rage-quitted.
It was fun.

i turn the other's off, but i was playing modern warefare 2 with a friend of mine, search and destroy i think, everybody had died but me, three guys were left on the other team, i had used up all but my revolver ammo, the other team went to place the bomb all at once, nearly one the game only i thought that there was only two guys, i ran out killed one, nearly killed the other and then i ran out of bullets and died. Keep in mind they all died a good 20 seconds in. According to my friend everyone on my team was yelling at me calling me names and threatening to kick me because i couldn't kill three guys at one time with a revolver.

I was in CoD (this was probably three years ago I think... maybe more) and getting horribley massacred by the enemy team (two guys with Stg 44's). I was by myself (my team-mate was afk)creating a large mound of bodies in one area because they camped in a spot where I HAD to go in order to plant the demolitions. So afterwards, they left for some reason I still don't know about. Taking their leave of absence to my advantage, I hid in that pile of dead bodies. They then arrived only to find something peculier with one of the dead bodies. It had an M1 Garand in his hand. Upon realising this they opened fire. If you played CoD you'd know that using the Stg 44 you'd suffer a lot of recoil when standing up. They probably shot me once. I then calmly landed two perfect head-shots. They complained and bitched saying I used aimbots and used god mode. So they kicked me.

Playing the halo reach beta free for all with my friends we had all the spaces except two and we wrent taking it seriously just having fun, the match was really close and we had two opponents who came in together i won the game by 3 kills and i was blamed of kill robbing and hacking because i won apparently they could "destroy my ***** ass if i wasnt being such a noob." and "they were obviously better than me because of their large amount of gamerscore."

Oh **** those 'hard scope!' moaners, that fucking makes me laugh. Most people that play MW2 get really upset if you camp, hard scope, noob tube or generally play the game in a way that they don't like. Just tell them to shut up and mute em.

They'll also get upset if you kill them with any of the following: Shotguns ("There's no fucking way you killed me from that far away!"), akimbo anything ("Fucking easy button spray-and-pray noob!"), the FAL and any of its attachments ("You're a hacker! I had full health, and you one-shotted me in the head!" "There's no way the shotgun attachment got that kill from that far away!" "Bullshit! You can't two-shot someone with a silenced assault rifle!" "You're using a modded controller! You can't really fire that fast!" etc. etc.)

I was playing demolition. I grab the bomb, run to one of the objectives, and plant the bomb. Immediately I hear:

I once got yelled at for "slacking" in WoW when I was completely new to DPS in instances - apparently, all the other guys have those talent trees and skill sequences hardwired into their genes.

I get the same experience about 1 out of every 10 groups or so. Only I'm not new to dps, I'm just a perpetual noob and I like to play the game transcendentally. I really hate it when people bark at you for not knowing any better. I feel ya man.

Creating alot of powerful units and sending them en-mass at your enemy, or clumping them near or in your base.

first off, i fight re actively alot of the time, meaning i stand there and watch, and counter best i can, no block, just neutral stance. also, i use Sagat Big Nasty FTW

i was in an online match, with some one, fighting as i always do, and only the 20th Ken that day to , and he started yelling at me " god, move you noob" or something like that. and since i don't have a mike, an i was getting annoyed, i 'moved', he lost baddly

and i made some OTHER ken rage quit middle of round 2, this was one of my more agressive moods mind you, he 'lost connection' sure no V for me, but i laughed.

can't handle losing to some one, stay off line, that simple

In a game of the original Halo, a few months ago, some kid started yelling at me in Chat because I was using a rocket launcher on a Warthog. My ally was having to pull off some really good driving to avoid enemy fire and obstacles, which mad targeting harder for me. Plus the fact that the rocket launcher on the Warthog has a nasty habit of causing the vehicle to flip if you fire at too close a target, plus the fact that targeting with it is really difficult anyway in a fast-moving vehicle.

The kid claimed I was a 'n00b' and was cheating by using the rocket launcher after I killed him with it. I then proceeded to kill him several more times with various weapons, which surprisingly managed to shut him up...

I can't really think of any time I've had to deal with this, but I always hated my friend's Halo parties because either everyone or this one particularly bossy and annoying prick would always want to exploit those stupid glitches instead of, ya know, kill each other as the game should entail. I kept getting bored and in one of the Halo 2 areas where the glitch has something to do with jumping on top of a pipe-shaped mini-tunnel where you somehow trampoline off of it I'd wait for them to bounce off, clearly having failed and then shoot them in the face. The aforementioned prick snapped at me for it once claiming he had almost done it if I hadn't shot him. Oh really? If you had just catapulted to the top of that building you're trying to get to, I wouldn't have hit you even if I did pull the trigger. I gave about a one to two second window to either make sure it happened or they have a moment to run like hell.

Why do people have that kind of attitude? The game is meant for playing. I don't want to see your stupid cheap trick that you could snipe everybody from during an actual match. Then again, I did. Figuring out where to find that BS was pleasant. Many of those guys who used these glitches found that I was regularly coming back to check and be sure nobody was there making the round suck just because they wanted a clear advantage. Turns out, most of those glitch spots don't give you a good opportunity to dodge plasma grenades if you don't want to spend another twenty minutes trying to get back up. Go figure.

Oh that's right, I did get yelled at a couple of times for killing someone taking advantage of one of these glitches. This has included a team kill before, so at least that one was technically justified. "Why did you kill me!" "You were in that stupid glitch spot" "Yeah, so I can snipe people!" "Yeah...that's why I killed you. We've been over this. I have no tolerance for the glitch bull shit."

A couple of days ago I was playing TF2 Nobody on my team was medic so I decided it would have been a good idea to do so. From the moment I went medic this guy abused me for being a noob because I was playing a medic and he was abusing me at every point he could for not healing him.
An example of a conversation went like
Him: You fucking noob why aren't you healing me?
Me: Because I am dead! You didn't even try to defend me when I was healing you Or Because I am on the other side of the map healing somebody actually doing something.
Him Fuck you, you fucking ******
He was promptly banned from the server
Afterwards he tried to send abusive messages to me on my steam page.
