I was playing WoW with a trial account, and i was only like lvl 10 or something.

So for my next to first time playing, a warrior asks to duel me, so I accept. When it started he charged me and a basic reaction was to run. So I did, with my minion stunning him and dealing most of the damage. I was also able to get a few dark bolts on him before I had to run again. Then, of course, I win, being a warlock and all, then he started bitching at me because, "I wasn't playing the game right. And I was suppose to die."

I sat there dumbfounded. I didn't reply to him because I knew it was worthless.

I had a great time none the less. :D

There were people in Diablo II who called me a noob for not giving them free stuff and/or not trading away my stuff for their stuff.

And this is where it gets awkward for me, you see my gamertag is a girls name (after a long night of beer and abuse of disposable income) so I often get harassed by players. It really has opened my eyes to how people see girl gamers, mainly in Halo 3 than MW2 tbh, which is very surprising.

But the worst one has to be when I was playing on TDM one day, well pull up a chair!

You see I often use a killstreak called Emergency Airdrops (drops 4 crates that can contain anything) and it just so happens that I got my grubby hands on 2 AC130's, a chopper gunner and a Pavelow. I almost came. So after a good session the game ended with me on 43-0 K/D, as you can probably imagine the other members of the team were a tad bothered by that...I will show you one message I got:

From -snip-: you f**king hacking b**ch! go back to the kitchen you stupid f**king hore before i cum to where you live and rape the f*ck out of you! go f**king die!

I was genuinely shocked by this, and just to add the cherry on top, the person who sent me this was 13.

How pathetic can you get?

There's your first mistake
There was your second mistake.

You're surprised a 12 year old was rage facing at you in that situation? Really?
This.

I had an Uncharted 2 MP session a few months ago, and there was some Arab dude talking about people having intercourse with their mothers in really bad English (how come that the first thing people learn in any language, way before they can string two sentences together, are swear words?). When some people started replying in a likewise fashion, I just said, "gentlemen, let's act like adults here. This is not XBox Live."

Laughs were had all around, we ignored the Arab, and proceeded to kill each other in a civilised fashion.
That is an epic win.
And whit the swear word thing it is simply because swear words are awesome(for instance I can swear/insult you in 9 languages but can only speak 2 and a half (still studying German not done jet) languages).
Back on topic:

ummm well there is this one time that I can remember when I made the terrible mistake of playing on Xbox live at a friends house.

Do I really need to say more?

alas, i got XBL in 2006, long before the COD and cheap arcade systems opened up the service to the rage-children (i was in grade 6 when i got it, but i wasn't, and still am not, rude like today's kids are), and my very first time on the service i had people welcoming me, giving me tips, being genuinely friendly, and making it so i felt comfortable speaking to them. heck, i made friends with a thirty-something guy and a bunch of his variably aged friends and played for hours with them. i met him in halo 3 just after launch, and then we played COD4 (about a month after launch) with a bunch of people he knew for three days, pretty much all day. i STILL play matches with these guys, and they are still as great as i remember.

in another instance of friendliness, i became friends with a kid in California around my age, and we played matches together for months. we were civil to each other and the people in the game, and didn't rage when someone played like they were supposed to. i actually knew quite a bit about him.

nowadays, all they have are screaming kids and childish adults. no longer are their fun, mature-acting people you can form GENUINE friendships with.

MW2 on PC. My shitty Laptop got made the server. It's not MY fault that caused everyone to lag by like 5 seconds. I didn't choose to be it.
Serves you right for playing a game without dedicated server support.
then you'd run into all sorts of other problems...since dedicated servers do have lag, and do have region preference...A dedicated server is not a portal to instant lan like game speeds, it simply improves things, and if a user sets up a public server for him and his local clan and has other clans fight his clan on that server? they get speed preference.

Pissed off the admin by beating him? kick banned.
Pissed off a friend of the admin by beating him in the game? kick banned.

Dedicated servers either developer made or user made do not grantee a lag free, jerk free environment, you just trade one set of problems for another.

It would have to be when I was playing Enemy Territory Quake Wars.

I was locked in a fire fight with an enemy player and moved closer to him. I get the kill and next minute Im dead.

Death by Teammates Oblit round (rocket launcher) so I file a complaint.

Next minute WTF you doing? why complain idiot..!!!

Err because I was trying to KILL AN ENEMY PLAYER AND YOU FIRED A FUCKING ROCKET AT ME CHRIST..

I think he learnt he was in the wrong when he saw me get the most frags on Valley and Outskirts both times over 50kills per map, I don't normally file for teamkilling but that was one of the worst TK's i,ve ever seen.

...What?
There's something wrong with using the scope?
I'm baffled. Just write it off as those kids being pissed off that you killed them.

OT: I got yelled at during a halo 3 match for shooting a guy on a mongoose as he attempted to run me over. The conversation went like this:
Him: FUCK YOU
Me: what?
Him: YOU DONT SHOOT A FUCKING MONGOOSE
That last quote was so hilarious, I just had to screencap it:

You need to send that to Very Demotivational.

People will PISS themselves laughing.

Here's the link:

Then go to the 'Upload/sumbit a poster' button.

It may take a while to get onto the site.

The kid is a dumbass. What kind of intelligent person thinks using the trick tactic (quick scoping in your case) is the normal way to do it? He's simply an idiot blaming you for his lack of skill.

I was accused of KSing (Kill-Stealing) in an MMO when I was the one who attacked and killed it first while he was in the middle of attacking it and trying to steal MY kill. He accused me of doing it then followed me and kept KSing me, failing every time soon I reported him for harassment. A few minutes later he disappeared right before my eyes. Thank you GMs, shame you don't do that when I find actual botters and hackers.

''You're a medic. You're not allowed to fight.''

I say. In Tf2 Medics are generally a core part of gameplay.
Clearly they've never played with a good Battle Medic ;D

TASTE BLÜTSAUGER, SCHWEINHUND!
Taste [Insert community medic weapon here that could be quite decent that we should get but no one could be arsed to make.] Dummkopfe.

Most people frown upon battle medics since they think they never heal anyone.
Second. The scenario goes like this:
Soldier/Medic combo gets ambushed by a Pyro. Soldier calmly tells the Medic to heal him and and he'll take down the Pyro. Medic instead whips out his Blutsauger/Needlegun. Both die. Commence rage.

i was playing hero war(watterd down DOTA that takes about 1/3 the time)
i got yelled at for being a bashtard because i random and got a person that has a 15% chance to stun when it hits and i just pored everything into attack speed
lol. Yeah, the mountain king WTFPWNS everything due too the bash skill in hero arena games... And then theres storm bolt to round it out with its low mana cost, 5 seconds stun, as well as being the most damaging projectile ability in the game.... So that you can stun them, then walk over to them, and keep them stunned. He really is cheese in arenas like that.

Also, there's no such thing as a "best spec".
Yes, there is. Every class has optimal specs for every encounter.

Christ I get some terrible people in ICC25 and VoA25 PUG's. Like when I see a Mage specced for PVP Frost pulling 1.5k-2k dps (Raid buffed) on Marrowgar, they're going to get kicked from the group.

Why? Because they're pulling the group down, and relying on everyone else's efforts to take them through content they aren't good enough for yet. (Skill wise, not Gear - though Marrowgar isn't exactly hard)
Well, of course if you bring a Frost PvP build into a raid you're just asking for trouble. You'd be retarded to bring a build you designed for PvP or a PvP-PvE build into a PvE raid instance.

I was given a fair bit of crap for putting all my points into Frost while leveling and I was given crap for making a versatile PvE-PvP build that allowed me to level/engage in PvE as usual but still gave me a fair bit of PvP benefit in case I got jumped by an itchy Alliance player. Apparently you're not ever supposed to have a "versatile" build. Apparently you're only ever supposed to have one spec for raiding (which I can understand), one spec for running heroics and one spec for PvP. Umm, no. I only have room for two builds, so I made one for raiding and one for whatever else.

I will always maintain that talents were implemented for character customization and that there should be a bit more diversity in end-game talents, or talent builds in general. Nobody should have to be bottle-necked into one of a group of builds that were apparently put forth by "theory-crafters and Elitist Jerks". Hopefully in the upcoming expansion Blizzard will change talents so that this doesn't happen, or at least doesn't happen anymore.

I mean, yeah, there are currently better specs that you should probably be using when raiding in end-game (which is unfortunately a given, but it happens and we all have to deal with it in some form), but what I mainly oppose is people going around telling me I'm bad because my non-raiding spec apparently isn't "optimal", even though it works well for me.

Apparently, in WoW, it's a bad thing to roll need on something you, you know, need. It was a smexy tanking trinket, and I was playing damage at the moment, but I had a tank set that needed better trinkets. I tried to explain this to my group, but they still bitched me out. I decided there was no getting through to these people, and, knowing I'd never see them again, I just left group. Screw them, and screw their (sucky) tank, I needed a new trinket!

I also got yelled at for "kill stealing" despite the fact that there were about 3 dozen of the exact same kind of mob running around nearby.
