Recently? The worst games I've played in the last year have been Arcania:Gothic 4 and Darksiders.

Haze, Haze, Haze. Mediocre-to-terrible gameplay. A super generic list of weapons, laughable graphics for a 'next-gen' shooter, and a plot/VA's that will make you feel like your watching something that MST3k would riff. I actually enjoyed it for its dumber than dumb nature.

Hydrophobia.
Doesn't even seem too awful from what I've played, it's just... dull. So very very dull.
At least physics for water is more useful then lets say jiggle phyics but yes it is dull but not horrible.

OT: Try out Desert Bus

Timeshift for the xbox 360. it had a good idea but terrible excecution. You should be able to have a field day finding all the problems with this game.

Well I haven't played it recently, but the worst game I ever played was Universal Combat. It's impressive in it's own right though. A lot of games suck, and some more so than this one. But this one is rather unique in just HOW MANY things it did wrong! Fly your carrier in space, do missions, do cool stuff in space, land, air, and sea! ...Well, actually the sea didn't exist. Just air combat with water beneath you. And the nearly-200 page instruction manual completely fails to explain how to play the game. And the "keyboard shortcuts" paper is three sections, front-and-back (yes, the whole keyboard is used, some keys multiple times depending on circumstance). The AI was stupid beyond belief. The game had you flying for 5 minutes for each foe you wanted dead, and was in desperate need of a time compression button. I could go on and on, but I won't. It's just amazing how many exciting feats it attempted and utterly failed at.
And it was the 5th (or something like that) in a series. My head hurts at that.

Have you ever played Daggerfall? It is truly trial of will from the glitchy animations to the unreasonable difficulty and abysmal control scheme, but wait there's more! You can now download it free from Bethesda's website, so there's really no excuse for passing this one up. Except that it's pretty bad. Maybe it was good in it's day, but not anymore.

anything from square enix.

yeah thats right, come at me FF7 fanboys and fangirls, i'll fucking rip into you
that, my obviously more angry with himself friend, is like telling a caveman to attack you while you man a vulcan cannon mounted on a battleship.

as to what you said... not being who your challenge is aimed at i guess i dont cares are in order...

as a person who enjoyed that game and who could not care less about any other opinions about it i would like to know what exactly makes you so angry at the people who enjoy it as to take it out on something you cannot enjoy.

OT: i agree with those who said mirror's edge, and i tried to like it... and i would suggest playing sonic heroes as that was truly terrible.
