I just bought Atlas Shrugged at Barnes and Noble. From the little I know about Objectivism, I think I'll be drudging through the whole philosophical bits, but the book itself sounds interesting.
Of course, God knows when I'll get around to reading it. I'm currently reading the Divine Comedy, I have been for a while, and I'm just about 1/3 of the way done (I'm on Circle 8, Bolgia 10 of Inferno right now). I reckon that it will take an equally long amount of time to get through the next two parts, but I enjoy it, so that's something.
Even as a Christian, I get a bit bored when Dante gets all Evangelistic, but his portrayals of Hell, Purgatory and Heaven are fantastically executed, in my opinion.
I also found it a bit funny at the begginning of one Canto in which Dante (who was really pissed at the Florentines for banishing him) says something like "Wow Florence, you're the best! You're so great that even in the very bowels of Hell your name spreads far and wide! Of the many souls I've encountered here, quite a number of them took residence within thee!"
