Monster Hunter has always had terrible start up, so even if Yahtzee played 5 hours, he'd just have more to complain about. All three games have had the same problem FF13 just recently contracted which is pacing. A game can have the greatest end game experience, but if it fails to deliver an immmersive first impression, then its all for not. If I have trouble playing an hour of a game, why the hell would I play more?
You compared his play length to FF13, but that only made it obvious why he stopped to begin with. I'm a Final Fantasy Fan and If you didn't enjoy 13 after 2 hours, I would have told you to give up too. Though it gets better and I still completely destroyed the game, it's nothing life changing, and worth the start up if your not already on board. Fans can go as far as to play a game sequel no matter how bad -.-, and some seem to blatantly stand up for a dying dog, even though it's on it's last breath.
I dunno why we needed another thread on this, Seeing as though arguing something about Yahtzee's review, on another post when Yahtzee already posted one is kind of redundant. Our word comes down to opinion in the end, but Christ, I think we only need one post for something as trivial.
