You've watched Enterprise and Voyager but not TNG? By far my favorite Star Trek series. Picard FTW. Other than that, Mythbusters, I guess.

My current favorites:
Big Bang Theory - So funny, and effing awesome
Criminal Minds - But the new season is pretty lame so far
V - This one's got some mixed reviews, but frankly I started watching it because of Alan Tudyk and Morena Baccarin and so far I like the show
FINISH DEXTER!

Older shows:
Firefly - I'm sure everyone's already said this though
Dead Like Me - It's pretty funny
Just Shoot Me! - I cried laughing during watching this show
I Love Lucy - This is my family's favorite - grown up watching this

The Tudors is a good political/historical show. Also the BBC Robin Hood was good for the first two seasons. I haven't seen the third.

For anime that hasn't been mentioned, Full Metal Alchemist is good. Also, Gun X Blade is a good show thats only one season long. Also Ghost in the Shell.

If you go the Doctor Who route, then you have to check out Torchwood.

Dead Set. It really is unmissable. It's a 5 part zombie series, created by the always reliable Charlie Brooker. It's set in a zombie outbreak in Britain, where the only place left is...The Big Brother House. They try to hold out against the horde. Part dark comedy, part gory zombie horror, it's one of the wittiest, most exciting, and most nerve-wracking series's I've ever seen on television.
Finding out about dead set made all my time here worth it (I also have fun here but what I'm saying is if someone were to say, "hey what are you doing on some dumb forum?" I could say "hey remember dead set? Yeah neither of us would know about it if it weren't for the good people of the Escapist.")
And Breaking bad is phenominal, but it's the kind of show you need to watch from start to end or you'll hate it. But it's worth it, it's great. Need more convincing, two words Bob Odenkirk.

Oh and *Ahem* adresses avatar*Ahem* Mr. Show with Bob (remember from up there ^ ?) and David is one of the best sketch comedy shows ever, of their four seasons maybe 3 sketches didn't get me laughing. And all of the best american comedians today can be traced to mr. Show.

I'm into sci-fi so I'm gonna recommend Battlestar Galactica and Stargate Sg-1/Universe. You can also try Firefly which is more of comedic. Oh, and if you're into something completely different try Dexter. Serial killer who kills other killers? Premise win.

Both nationalities of The Office are very funny, although I'd say the British version is a bit more subtle. Still gonna recommend both.

People always beat me to Doctor Who but I'm going to say it anyway because it's the only show I'm currently watching. Until True Blood comes back on the air.

Oh, and The Listener if you can find it. It's Canadian but it's not too awful. (Yes I can hate my countrys' programming)

Weeds
Any of Chef Gordon Ramsay's shows. funny and entertaining as hell.(eg. Ramsay's kitchen nightmares)
The Office (american and british version) i prefer the british one. It came first and I find it more funny.
Seinfeld
Frasier
Drawn Together
Invader Zim
Star Trek: The Next Generation (because Picard and Data are the shit)
The Brak Show (from adult swim)
Harvey Birdman: Attorney at law (adult swim aswell)
South Park
Family Guy
Futurama
Sliders (if you can find it. it was discontinued but ..god damn it was a good show)

chances are you watch the latter half of that list anyway..but..those are still what i would suggest. take them as you will.

Supernatural
Can pull off slapstick comedy and really dark horror, even at the same time. And it has a kickass soundtrack!

Sadly, the show airs on the CW, and for some reason, the President of Entertainment there hates it. Easily the least advertised show on the network, but it's the best show on TV right now.

And being on the CW has it's perks. You don't often get a show where a possessed priest massacres a convent right before a commercial for Gossip Girl! XD

Check out Jericho on DVD. That series ended far too soon, but was good until it was cancelled.
