Daft Punk - Alive. Just so well done. Man I would love to see them live.

Wish you were Here - Pink Floyd. Beautiful album. Kinda short, but still damn good.

Dark Side of the Moon is fantastic as well. I'm genuinely torn as to which I like better.

"The Soft Bulletin" by The Flaming Lips - from beginning to end, that album is literally flawless; each and every song is beautifully composed, with some fantastic lyrics to boot. If you want something a little angrier, listen to "In Utero" by Nirvana. People often dismiss Kurt Cobain as being a sub-par songwriter, but I'd really have to question whether or not those people have actually heard "In Utero".

I'm going to recommend Personal Journals by Sage Francis. It's dense and hard to get into, and the fact it's rap at all may put a lot off, but it's well worth the effort.

Mostly Popular Rock (Paul) and Hard Rock (John) but there are a couple of other sounds in there too: Like the Country Rock sounds of "Don't Pass Me Bye", George Harrison's "Piggies" which is Baroque Rock, "Good Night" (Sung by Ringo but made by Lennon) is a gentle Lullaby, and of course, the Avant-Garde "Revolution 9".
