Thanks for the suggestions. Reading the lists gave me sweet sweet nostalgia. I remember playing a lot of these games, I just can't seem to find them.

if you have a ps3 you can get a lot of ps1 classics for super cheap. some of them are even free now with the whole playstation plus thing

all i got that hasnt already been mentioned is Xenogears but its extremely rare and once you do get it its like a 60+ hour game (before the side quests) and the 2nd disc gets a little confusing story wise also good call on Dragon Valor that game is friggin awesome and no one has ever heard of it so until now i thought that it didnt really exist and i imagined the hole game

Honestly, if you turned on a PS1 ANYWHERE in the world right now, if it has a game in it, chances are it's a damn good one.

All the Spyro games ever made for PS1 are great!

Every Spyro game after that was a total disaster and they keep grinding the poor fellow into the dirt long after death, in a feeble attempt to revive him and cash in on the nostalgia.(See: Sonic the Hedgehog. Actually, I only played Sonic at a friends house back in the day, so Spyro is my Sonic in terms of ruined favorit childhood game hero.)

You NEED Metal Gear Solid. That game is so exelcior. If that game doesn't even get the slightest bit of some sort of a reaction from you, then you have no soul whatsoever. Another good thing is that since you're playing it on PS1 you can also get the VR missions expansions pack.
